Fear not, Burns’ wingspan of 84 5/8” is among the best. For edge rushers only Sweat and Omenihu has a slightly longer wingspan, but they both have 36” arms.

Hockenson time was good enough for me to cement him as the #1 TE. By far the best tape. Will be one of the best complete TEs since Heath Miller.

Anyone who watched tape on Fant couldn't help but notice Hockenson. I think a lot of projections I've seen of him being a top 10 guy are overblown but he is a legitimate top 20 guy.

I see JJ Arcega-Whiteside decided not to run. Probably not all that surprising although I doubt he goes Round 1 unless he runs well at his pro day.

DK Metcalf ran a 4.33, he will probably be a top 20 pick

DK Metcalf just ran an unofficial 4.33 at 6'3 230 lbs.

    Ridiculous. Julio Jones type physicality.

Somebody is gonna trade way up to get him.

I didn't think we would go WR with the #20 pick! I am hoping they are thinking if they get a 1st early 2nd for AB then we go WR but I am not liking it. We couldn't out score other teams with Ben, Bell and AB so IMO the thinking if we can't stop em out score em is out the window load up the D. :smiley1:

Well I am always the "trade back" guy lol. Serious this is a load draft get me an extra 2nd/3rd and I am in. Not to mention we are use to drafting in the late 20's, 28-30-25 the last 3 years.

I agree 100% there is WR's up and down this draft and even ones that won't get drafted. I can see another 2nd round pick at WR or like you say if we trade AB we use that pick.

Can we just draft him and if he does not pan out as a WR he would be nast as DB or Safety

I think the only way they take a WR is if the DBs and LB's they like are off the board, then WR/TE is in play.

Or they have an extra pick like you said.

They have to go defense if the pick is there.

Ed Oliver did a couple of tests but skipped the 40 and didn't do on field drills. I think the official word was a hamstring.

    2 things from this.

Not surprising as he certainly has a "I'm gonna do things my way" mentality. As I've said before, if you are gonna take this guy you really need to do your homework and make sure that he loves and will commit to football.

I'm sure he will do more work at his pro day.

From a personal point of view, anything that drops him closer to #20 is exciting. Very low probability that he is a Steeler for multiple reasons but the idea of it is exciting.
