Interesting how the main office can decide "There was no clear visual evidence of a recovery by the defense" on that last fumble, when they didn't bother to review the play. Maybe that would have been the correct decision, but they still have to show their work before deciding on the answer.

I have an theory for all the PI non-calls the league office has been making.
I suspect the review office in NY is unmanned, and set up like the help phone line for big corporations: elevator music for a few minutes, then the call is "accidentally" cut off. The ref on the field is waiting on the phone for 2 minutes, is stuck with no answer with an angry crowd waiting for the game to resume, so the ref announces, "no clear evidence to overturn."
