I'd say he's been a good QB. The thing that might put him in the HOF is his longevity. He's been good for a long time.

But he's never been great imo. First ballot entries are reserved for greats. I think he's a borderline HOF.

    I’m confused.
    Why does Seattle Offense struggle?

    Should be rolling.

Must feel amazing to watch your team be able to run the ball effectively and run the clock down.

And of course the Rams just scored on play action

I'm sorry but I wish I could just watch a football game without being constantly told that I'm a bad person.

if you didn’t watch football, you’d probably still be a bad person. Watching or not is irrelevant.

Self reflection can be cathartic. Unless, of course, it isn’t.

If I was voting, he wouldn't make the cut. He's a good QB and at times has been very good, but nothing sets him apart from a lot of other QB's.

Phillip Rivers will likely end up in Canton. That said, he is going to be waiting for a while yet. A Quarterbacks success is not just measured by stata but by performance in the playoffs.

Phil had very little to his resume to get him in as it stands in the playoffs. It is unfortunate given his accolades. Not just that, time is not on his side either as there are other players who will be on the Ballot alongside Phillip; Hines Ward likely still being there.

If anything, I expect the likes of Hines Ward to get in before Phillip does!

    ..... Speaking of Quarterbacks...

How much more leeway are people going to give Russell Wilson?! Yes, he has more wins than any other QB in his first nine seasons which is nothing short of incredible. That said, his playoff performances have been very suspect since the collapse of the Leigon of Boom days. Just has not found that level of success since; doubly so with Jamal Adams.

Here is the worst part though. Pittsburgh's Free Agency may look bad but Seattle's is arguably worse. That corps that was supposed to bring them over the top is going to be gutted in a big way.

How can that Offense not be dominant?

Their lack of Defense hurts them though.

I'm not saying Wilson has been spectacular in the playoffs, but he's been better than Ben. Ben was great in 2005 and against Jacksonville a few years ago when our defence failed us. Other than that, he's never been particularly good in the playoffs. If you take away those 2 years, he has far more INT's than TD's in the playoffs. That's a problem.

Wilson has better playoff stats than Ben does. Things tighten up in the playoffs. There's no more bad teams to pad your stats against. The competition is much tougher. That's why as great as some of those NE teams were, they often needed a great defensive play or a timely FG To win the game. It's the nature of playoff football

    Hmm...

Perhaps so stat wise. For me, the win is critical in the Post Season.

Yeah, fair enough. Hard to judge an individual player on wins and losses. Look at Ben. He deserved the win vs Jax a few years ago. The guy like played one of his best games ever but the defence blew it. On the other hand, in the 2005 SB he had one of his worst games ever yet he won. Wins and losses are a hard thing to put too much weight into.
