Generally agree - other than Foster. He is a very underrated right guard, though that's about it for him position-wise. What I would do next year is have DeCastro shift to the left side, which should be a better fit for him with his mobility. Keep Foster at RG (if we can resign him), and of course Pouncey goes back to his natural C spot. That would give us a very solid interior 3. It's good to hear someone else on this board acknowledge that Gilbert has been a big, fat bust. I absolutely hated the pick when we made it, and he has done nothing to demonstrate that he can play the game at a NFL starter level (never mind justify his 2nd round status).

Give him 5 minutes alone with Gilbert and he will be.

TE i think we could run just about any type of blocking scheme if we go with the youth movement. as i said my concern is then with the type of RB that we have to run the zone system. like i have said with our line it is mismatched. max ,colon and foster don't fit the mobile type players needed to run our full offensive system of haley which limits his play calling ability. it also matches slow with two mobile linemen in DD and pouncey as was going to be our starters last year. now (next year) it would match adams,DD,pouncey, beachum and the draftpick i want , getting mobile across the line. that's the line i want to see gel together, no matter what type of scheme they run. i don't have a problem with the zone blocking scheme if they have the RB's to run it.

Which means Mendy, seems a long shot and if I heard right, the draft isn't rich with RB's. Although during the 4 game stretch when the line was most healthy, Red and Dwyer both ran well, I still think we can be successful with Dwyer if he can get in peak condition.

there are some guys that are out there in this draft. dwyer did most of his damage creating out of nothing then he did cutting back. breaking tackles was his gift i thought more then cutting through a small hole. rainey actually could do alot of damage in a zone type system. zac stacey, rex burkhead, ray graham out of pitt are a couple of guys that could help us. i'd stay away from montae ball and that type. those are more in the dwyer range i feel.
