College playoffs thread

While the format is not perfect ( James Madson or Tulane ) over higher ranked teams ) is an eyesore. No disrespect to any conference, but Strength of schedule matters as does ranking. If you're an outsider, you better have an undefeated record to get to leapfrog higher ranked teams.


With that off my chest, we saw two 1st or 2nd round picks last night. Simpson and Mateer.



Simpson was solid vs. a very good defense.

Mateer now that he is healthy for the last two games threw for 300 yards or more vs quality teams; however he needs to watch the interceptions.

Both men could use a little more seasoning if they do not opt for the 2026 draft. If the come out, I would spend our first round pick on either of them and are not likely to be there for us when we select in round two.
