would be nice to see. i'm hoping they sign steele chambers as well. he was cut by the lions. bring him to camp.

 

Given his name it seems only fitting.

 

It sounds cagey

 

If he can make it back that will make for a crowded linebacker room. So who is getting cut? Robinson would be my first guess.

 

Holcomb, Queen, Roberts, and Wilson would be the locks if Holcomb returned. They could keep five and hold on to Robinson.

 

From what I am hearing this is going to be the year of the linebacker for special team duties on kickoffs; gone will be your DBs and WRs, because you no longer need that speed to get downfield.

 

Yeah, that and smaller/quicker OL/DL depth. Maybe they find a use for Leal on game days.

But you still need gunners on punt coverage. It will be interesting how they adjust the active roster.

 

you have to be careful with that as well as the cowboys found out late in the year. the smaller quicker defense they put out there couldn't stop the run and i can't remember what team it was but they just pounded the ball against them. the problem being unless they got a lead and the other team had to pass a lot, which played into the cowboys hands, they didn't have the lead and the other team ran it down their throats using up all the clock. they couldn't stop it.
