Hopefully they got free tickets. Steelers never have 60 K usually half the stadium is empty seats.

I can recognize that this years team is going nowhere and I can still love and support the Steelers. It’s not one or the other.

That’s B.S. and you know it. I think everyone is pretty frustrated with the team this year, but not everyone is running around like a child kicking and screaming.

You said half. That’s not close to accurate.

I am ball-parking obviously but there are always lots of empty seats. I don’t know the exact percentage.

Can’t be good every single year. Take a deep breath and ride it out. Things will be fine. Tomlin will eventually move on. We will rebuild.

Really?? What do you base this statement on? I've only been to Heinz once but, there were WAY more than 30,000 people there. That was for a home opener so, early in the season. Even when I watch on TV, I can tell the stadium is more than half full. Could you be exaggerating a little?

Im definitely exaggerating but when I used to go to home games there was always plenty of open seats. And that was when we had competitive teams.

Did you count the people that were standing. You see them all the time on TV.

The seats are paid for and going forward there is waiting lists to buy tickets. But to the point once the weather gets cold
and the team is playing horribly you will see the fans not showing up.

    Actually when the games kick
    Off the seats are packed

By the time you start seeing the seats at half time people are in line to eat pee get beer

Your half empty statement is just foolishness

This is for the start of the season with only 3 home games. Will these numbers remain as the season goes on, or with our next home game?

This makes me think of maybe changing how we draft. We seem to go after best player available but maybe its time to go after positions of need. We have many good players but not where they count the most. Just a thought.

I think what might possibly work out best trading away picks for proven talent. However we aren’t really in position to do that because we have so many needs right now. Look at the Eagles for instance getting Brown, Bills getting Diggs. That seems to be the recipe. But not so sure it work for us.
