Indeed. Sadly though, it is a numbers game in the NFL. That said, the fact that Roche did make a valuable contribution further highlights how well this class has played. That said, let us see how this pans out in three years. So far so good but will only matter if these players can be retained for a long time.

I can already see people trying to create this narrative that signing Ingram cost them Roche, but that simply isn't true. It was Jones who beat out Roche for a roster spot, and that was clearly a mistake by the Steelers.

If they hadn't signed Ingram in July, do you think they would have cut Roche in August? Sure, Roche wasn't going to beat him out for reps in 2021, but don't tell me you value the draft more (speaking about Tomlin here) and then go sign Ingram because you don't trust your draft pick.

You keep harping on the importance of having someone rotate in with Watt and Highsmith, but now you want to claim they should have trusted a sixth-round pick to fill that role when there was a former Pro Bowl edge rusher available at a bargain price? You really don't care how badly you contradict yourself in your ongoing attacks on the front office and the coaching staff, do you?

The choice was between Roche and Jamir Jones, not Roche and Ingram. I had already explained this to you, so I can only conclude that you are simply choosing to ignore the facts for the sake of your misleading narrative.

Jesus, it doesn't take much to bunch your panties, does it?

Tomlin trusted a rookie to be the rotational guy last year, worked out OK. This year he didn't. Can you simply disagree with someone without spinning some elaborate nefarious motive fantasy?

Do you really think I'm angry because I'm mocking something foolish that you posted? You're funny.

Can you disagree with someone without creating misleading narratives to prop up your failing arguments?

That rookie was a third-round pick. Also, they also had Adeniyi, who at least had experience in the system, and I'm not sure there was a player like Ingram available for such a low price.

None of that changes the fact that the choice was not between Ingram and Roche. It was between Roche and Jones and the Steelers made the wrong call.

Bump. Moore and Green humbled tonight. Muth a monster, Najee only able to do what his line allowed, because he's, you know, a running back. I think in five years we'll be looking back on this draft saying "Thank God for Freiermuth".

How cute, I have a new shadow. Didn't work out so well for the other three, maybe your luck will be better.
