Cody Wallace on IR

The Steelers placed Wallace on IR today after no improvement was seen during the bye week in regards to his injured knee

 

Then does that mean Green is back?

 

The open roster spot this leaves us eliminates the need to immediately cut one of our TE's.

 

Nevermind, I reread the article about this and they resigned Shabazz to the active roster

so cody is kept for one more year or at least the rights to him next year? similar to adams?

shabazz will be cut next week if green comes back and/or mihalik and then shabazz when dupree comes back. this is the last week we have to keep mihalik active and with gay injured shabazz is db insurance. i do think both these guys could be some good depth down the road. hopefully they will go back on the PS safely until next year.

 

I'm pretty sure this wouldn't apply to Wallace because he was IR'd not on the PUP list.

 

Yup, Shabazz because Willie was having some foot issues. Makes sense why Burns is was listed as starter now.
