CoD: Advanced Warfare

Been playing around with this game a bit. It has a lot of potential, and a lot of flaws. But overall, it's probably the best one since MW2, maybe even CoD4.

I know this was a feature in Blops2. Although I'm not sure to what extent. But we can make our own "Player Cards" including emblems that also go on your uniform and guns. You can earn certain emblems through achievements or challenges. Or you can make your own using the tools they give you (shapes, editing tools on the shapes or emblems, rotating or moving elements, color changes, etc). Up to, I think, 25 "layers" or elements.

The painful part is that each letter is considered one layer. So you have to resize and place each one individually. That was probably the hardest part to get looking decent.

Decided for fun to play around with it and try to make a personalized emblem. I'm not very good with this kind of thing, but I think it turned out well. Well enough to share it.

Excuse the picture quality. The colors aren't as vivid, nor is the picture as crisp as it would appear on my TV screen. I don't have a way to capture it (actually, I do, it just occurred to me. LOL), so I just snapped a pic of the screen with my phone. But it'll give you some idea.

I'm aware that this pic makes it seem as if the bottom hypocycloid is purple. It's actually blue. Trust me.

And lastly, your operator can be customized a great deal. My hope is to eventually get a lot of black and gold gear together (kind of like my boots) or at least mostly black. But the emblem gets patched on your chest, thigh and back. Always good to represent.
