Cobi Hamilton

Can somebody refresh my memory about his game. I came away somewhat impressed about his ability to catch in the NE game, but don`t remember if he dropped any he should have caught.

Just wondering if this guy could be a pleasant surprise.

 

I seen him on the field in Miami, at first site I thought who is this no. 83 that looks like a tight end. He is that big. He caught everything that was thrown to him (2 or 3 ) including a very nice catch for a touchdown.

Against New England I think he caught everything thrown to him except one low pass that I think was uncatchable. He caught all other passes the he was targeted.

Got to say plesantly surprised with his skills, and size along with he looks like he plays with some passion.

 

If he's wearing #83, he has to be good. Just sayin'.

 

He dropped a deep ball that he tried to one hand catch. It looks like he could have got two hands on it.

After that terrible OPI that was a terrible no call.

 

i told you guys in preseason this kid was good. hebig and has good hands. he should have made the team right off the bat. he was good at arkansas. he makes tough catches too. nice to see him get his shot. i said several weeks ago that at some point he would be contributing in some fashion this year. he can't go back to the PS or we will lose him.

 

I like what I have seen in this kid, not trying to jinx anything here but who was the last wr that hasn't worked out for us....Sweed?? It feels like every time we lose a guy we have 1 or 2 in the waiting, is it the system that is making the talent or the talent making system.......or both? Whatever it is I want this kind of success to spead to the rest of the team..........

 

He and LOLandry practice together every day, they should be able to connect.

 

Forgot about that one. But that was when his one hand was held down, and he tried to catch it with one hand. PI should have been called on that one. Right now I would play him over Wheaton and until Coats gets over his hand issue I would play Cobi over him.

 

he caught two from ben last week. 1 for a TD.

 

And don't forget about Theo Bell!!!!!

 

This story should exponentially raise everyone's impression of Cobi at least till the cows come home. Sounds like a character from Forrest Gump. And we could certainly get him to help with this against the Ravens and Bengals.

good read mojave. i really like this kid and i hope he has a future here. between wheaton being a FA and DHB getting up there in age we have a need for another talent. even if bryant comes back that all important 4th and 5th wr with talent is huge. his size is also a huge plus. he can get open he's already shown that. a very nice find i hope we hang on to.
