    He's off the pup.

    Has a hard road ahead of him and facing a lot of competition. Had his knee scoped, will he be able to get in and to of his cuts quick enough to gain separation and still needs to show he is past the physical/mental aspect of his finger injury and can catch.

    Hope so because the Coates of the first 6 games last season would be a nice addition.

    Heard rumors that part of the CB Trumaine Johnson Rams trade' would involve Coates. Maybe they're thrying to showcase him. Just a guess

    Coates could play. I read reports where he was running at full speed several days ago.

    Undergoing an MRI as we speak, I believe. Tomlin said it isn't serious.

    This is huge for Coates. When healthy, he was impressive last year, but he's got to get back to where he was.

    I'm still enjoying the depth of AB, Marty, Rogers, Coates, JuJu, Hamilton, etc. That's pretty incredible.

    He actually has been....they have mentioned it in almost every camp report...so he's been putting in the work.

    This. He had broken fingers. Hard to catch with broken fingers but some think he should have just manned up :lolol:

    He will be part of the fray as he should be.

    I was high on Coates when we drafted him and he has provided glimpses of that potential.

    Tough to see him at his best until Ben is slinging him the ball though.

    He didn't just have broken fingers. He broke them to the point that they had to stitch the weebing in his fingers back together.

    I was at camp two weeks ago he was working out on the jugs gun, only reason I mentioned it.
    Sammie has a history (college also that he drops passes he should catch) He better hope his drops are to minninum
    way too much talent/competition at WR position to not go with the more consistent pass catcher.
