I know this is a water cooler topic but please leave this here a day or so..... After all , we family!!!

Coastal Steeler area has been hit very hard by Hurricane Florence .... Flooding all over.... Wide spread power loss , trees down everywhere....

But Sarge is safe!!! No power and not flooded but he has a camp stove AND Coffee so life is good. If you're a praying man or woman keep him in your prayers ..... My area received massive amounts of rain and some flooding and we are good here also...

My thoughts and prayers go out to Coastal Steeler. I live in North Myrtle Beach 3 miles inland from the coast. My family and I evacuated to Disney. We figured if we need to leave we might as well make it a vacation. Only minor damage to my house so far, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for all the residents that stayed. Hopefully I can find a good bar down here to watch the game tomorrow.

Not sure how far this is from where you are, but Tomkos is supposed to be a good Steelers bar.

Best of luck to anyone caught in the heart of this thing. I'm currently in Durham NC where most of it missed us. My concern now is that the local CBS affiliate here will preempt the game with their storm coverage. I'm thinking they won't with all the networks pay for NFL, but who knows?

Clive, I got power back last night. We are doing ok now. Back yard is cleaned up and cut. Got high test gas for my mowers now. I will be working on the front yard tomorrow. I am in Jville about 2 hours from you. Thanks for asking.
