Coach Tomlin, "Steelers will be fine."

Wow! I would rather root for the Chargers than Jim Harbaugh and there's not a team I hate more than the Chargers!

Personally, I like the "Tomlinisms". Of course, as often is the case, I look at things from a different view than most. I'd rather he say what he does than say some of the things some of the other coaches (Rex comes to mind) say. Honestly, I'm not sure what some of you are expecting him to say. I know the "unleash Hell" comes up alot. So, he said it and it didn't pan out. Name me one coach that has had everything they have said pan out each and every time. If they would have unleashed Hell we would be calling him a savant!

Did you see the SB ring Tomlin won in a couple of years? Oh wait....never mind, i'm sure someone will chime in and remind me how he won with another coaches team.

 

but i don't think anyone on this board coached a winning or losing team in the SB. only one coach we have had DOESN'T know how that feels.

 

I like the 9ers. Hate Harbaugh. Before you give too much credit to the whiner, remember that a lot of the players were already in place. The 9ers have scouts, assistants, GMs, owners, etc. who have a lot of say in which team makes the field. Of course, the players seem to like Harbaugh, and play all out for him (or maybe they play for the team) JH didn't put the current 9ers team by himself. (He's winning with Singletary's team)

 

This is exactly what I thought the whole time. Maybe we should make a rule that all sarcasm is to be typed in like purple letters or something. LOL.

I'll go ahead and assume this thread turned into a "Yay or Nay" over tomlin.

Hopefully this is the year he shows more than he cliches.

 

I didn't realize that "We'll be fine" is a cliche.
