Not nearly as big here in the Steel City as it is in Cleveland.
Now when the Baltimore Ravens come in it is BIG.

I beg to differ, if we get swept by these guys I am pretty sure it will be a big deal. Not to mention our playoff hopes will take a very big hit. IF they sweep us rivalry with a meaning back on. When we win it will just be a rivalry for them and us wiping the poop off our shoes!!!!!!

I hear ya and yeah the Rats are a bigger game but after the helmet to the head I have a feeling this game has a ton of meaning. jmo The only reason the Rats are a bigger rival imo is cause they win, if these clowns win rivalry back on.......just look how everyone talked about them before the season with not winning anything.

Browns fans having being completely starved of Super Bowls have a type of mental condition where they are out of touch with reality. I have one who works at a super market I go to every week. Just yesterday I was explaining to him that the Ravens already as good as have the division and he was telling me they still have a chance (getting a bit angry). I said the Ravens only have two losses (trying to give a mathematical argument), it`s not happening, but he said "we beat them and we will beat them again", (then a pause as mathematical argument may be sinking in), "our beating them should count for 4 wins." LOL.

Apparently the Clowns coach, who looks like he was plucked from a Cleveland bowling alley, was seen wearing a t shirt that said “The Steelers started it”. Think about it. This guys is supposed to be an NFL HC. The leader and example setter for his team. What a joke. Sounds about right for Cleveland.

He wore it to the "Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood" movie. Which makes Kitchens look even more idiotic since the movie is about Mr. Rogers and the Pittsburgh area.

You young.......you was in diapers when Magnum PI was QB for the Steelers and Woodson was a Rook.
When I was in diapers, Fred Flintstone was at QB and Barney Rubble was a Rook. :lolol:

Agreed. You'd expect a player or fan to do this. I think by Jan he will be EX-coach of the Cleveland Browns!

    How was Forbes Field?

I actually miss 3 rivers. Not because it was the greatest stadium. Just because I remember my dad and I going as kid all the time.

    Ok I’m Done with nostalgia

Steelers need to end their playoff hopes tomorrow. If we lose out after that so be it. Just end them lol

Well If they said browns will sweep you but you win the super bowl then I’m cool with that

Saw my first Pirate and Steeler games at Forbes. Didn't know any better at the time but in hindsight it was an awful venue - I-beam columns everywhere blocking your view if you were under the overhangs. 456" to dead center, they used to store the batting cage in front of the center field wall during games. Football games were strange there because it was really just a baseball field and didn't have the movable stands (that I remember) that more recent two-way stadiums have to improve the views. Had season tickets to Pitt games for a few seasons with my Dad at the old Pitt Stadium when they had some decent teams and would almost sellout the stadium (Penn State and West Virginia) with a capacity just under 70,000.

If we sucked for as long as they have and had our owner hate us to the point of sneaking our team to another state in the dead of night, we'd probably be insufferable like they are. Not that I'm justifying their behavior or anything. ;)
