Josh Allen is on a seemingly unstoppable tear right now. Bills are the favorites in the AFC.

I'd guess they would want to beat the Ravens, since in the event the Ravens win out and win the North, losing to Baltimore in week 17 would mean that a playoff rematch would be in Baltimore and not in Houston. Not a huge deal or not likely, but if both Baltimore and Houston both won in the divisional round, you'd want to host the AFCCG.

No, you said they'd sit them vs Denver. KC's game before that is Christmas in Pittsburgh. If KC sits their starters vs Denver they wouldn't play from December 25th until January 19th. Why is that so hard to understand?

I just went through the playoff machine and I have us the #5 seed playing at Houston. That's a lot better than being the Chargers at #6 playing at Baltimore and the #7 seed playing at Buffalo.

We have room for improvement. Pickens comes back, which should help the passing game. As far as the d, i hope they review the tape of this game really well, and understand they have to get more physical with the opponents receivers. Specially near the goal line.

i really wanted the steelers to win this game. More than the others. I know its not a conference game but i felt breaking the streak would speak volumes about this team and this season, oh well…hope they shake it off and win next week.

If us and Baltimore have the same record three weeks from now, we win the division. I'm pretty sure we have tiebreakers over them.

I'm thinking there's zero chance we win the division if we lose Saturday though. We aren't beating KC.

We need Baltimore to lose to Houston if we lose Saturday. And then I'm not even sure we are guaranteed to beat Cincinnati.

Right now, I view the Steelers as "The Not Ready for Prime Time Players." Yes, I did steal that.
I the decision to not find a Bonafide WR early on is really burning our collective rear ends.
Philadelphia, whom I consider to be highly overrated, did not respect anything on the outside.

    So, playoffs. We're in.
Buffalo is the cream of the crop in the AFC. Detroit is still the counterpart in the NFC as I don't think that loss knocks them down any at all.
I think that was a preview of the Super Bowl.
ESPN and other media sure has a man crush on the Baltimore QB. By day's end one would have thought he won a Super Bowl and created World Peace.
Josh Allen is pretty much to MVP, he's playing at God Level.

Balitmore, KC and Bengals are need to win games, one doesn't 'back into the playoffs' one must be hitting their stride.
The Playoffs are a new season, and anything can happen, but the Steelers need to stop with the stupid penalties and step up their play.
That was not the best outing I've seen from them.

this is a waste of your time.

just like all of it was 3 and 4 and 5 weeks ago.

just sit back and let's watch the final quarter of the year unfold. We will know more around New Years....

Hate to see the optimism you've had all season circle the drain...losing 1 game with 3 left to play in season doesn't qualify as limping in. Relax!

I hear you I have been much more optimistic this year but I’m seeing 2 big time issues

    1. Health- we cannot be down GP or Watt we just don’t have any depth at WR and Watt is our best player. GP is likely out a couple more weeks we will see about TJ

    2. Tomlin- playoff drought speaks for itself and with the schedule getting difficult and injuries occurring limping in and having to go on the road for a playoff game isn’t optimal.

100% agree! Health is huge and maybe I took your meaning the wrong way. Limping in from a health standpoint would be unfortunate, but limping in from a pure suck standpoint would be way more disappointing...and that would fall more to your point of Tomlin's playoff drought.

A win at Baltimore and we’d get a home game….tough as that will be.

Unless these injured guys like GP and Watt, Elliot can play even though we own them and Lamar I’d highly doubt it.

It looks like according to ESPN anyway, that the Chiefs are shutting down Mahomes until the last week of the season. So even after a loss to the Ravens on Saturday the Steelers can still win the division by defeating the Carson Wentz Chiefs on Christmas and the Bengals in week #18.

How about we beat the Rats and claim the #3 seed? Don`t like the doom talk about falling to 6 seed.

4 teams have clinched a spot in the AFC. Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, Texans and 3 of those teams have clinched their divisions.
Ravens, Broncos, Chargers are currently sitting in spots 5-7. The closest teams sitting out of the playoffs, are two games from a playoff spot

One and done, unless Steelers can somehow win the North. That's less likely now with Watt injured and likely out for Ravens game.

Steelers can beat the Chiefs, but I worry about the Bengals. If Joe Burrow keeps playing like he did vs Cowboys and Titans.... Steelers are in deep sh!t in week 18. Burrow will make Hurts look like an amateur vs. Steelers secondary.

My only hope is Bengals don't give a crap about the game. I'm do not think our success against the Ravens holds up. IMO Steelers end up 11-6 and on the road for first Playoff game. Ravens have us and Texans but close with Browns.

I have zero confidence we win a Playoff game on the road.
