Clearing up Wheatons "catch"

I wonder if fans can send things like this to the league office and ask for an explanation? Remember a couple of years ago in the Broncos game when Manning hit Thomas on a quick out and he took it to the house? Then they made a Papa John's commercial out of it? But in the commercial it was BLATANTLY obvious that Keenan Lewis got held by the jersey for literally YARDS. WHY would the NFL want that in a commercial??? LOL!

 

I remember that. There were a couple of holds on that play. I think Mundy was held.

Yeah, I get that the refs missed the call, but you're going to put it in a commercial? I hope Broncos fans were as embarrassed as I was pissed.

I was so sure they'd call offside that at the time the ball was in the air I didn't even care what happened, because I was so sure it was a free play. Don't know how they missed that.

 

Not as bad as the Ray Rice 30+ yarder and then the kick return where there were clear holds and blocks in the back that they kept showing over and over.....

 

Yeah that made me EXTREMELY mad because the commercial was making it out like it was some miraculous throw by peyton and a great run by Thomas and I was thinking about how I could have made that run if the closest guy to me was dragged in the other direction! My guess is that most of the bandwagon broncs fans didn't even see the hold. At least the ones around here probably didn't. They were just too busy talking about how peyton is the "greatest ever" and all that.
