Probably one of the many players not buying into MT's BS cliches week after week. Calling out Canada whom Tomlin still won't get rid of. I'm sure Claypool packed his bags in record time to get away from this train wreck and all these fickle fans. Got a 2nd rounder for him so I can't hate on that too much. I just hope he capitalizes on this opportunity and we see him start putting up big numbers.

How long til we start ripping on Pickett and getting rid of him cause of our coaches incompetence?

Najee looks like a bust but MT will keep him forever cause they love playing Madden together.

If the truckload comes with a new HC and getting rid of all his sidekick cronies then please overnight it. I will have tears of joy!

Wonder if the Bears paid high so that Packers wouldn’t get him?

It’s a good move screwing a team in your Division.

Yeah, Hetfield was funny when he was discussing that. Like he was completely blown away. Hell, anyone would have been. I'm happy it never came to pass. We wouldn't have the Primus library to enjoy that we do now. Les was just not the right fit for Metallica.

newsflash. Metallica blows and is way overplayed on the FM dial. (JMO probably). I can't make 6 notes into their songs before I switch the radio. Drives my wife nuts because she used to like them but we have a rule whoever is driving gets control of the radio. And I usually am 90% of the time.

Les Claypool has more talent in his left pinkie toe than Metallica has in their entire band.

I've said before the only reason this trade would upset me is if they use even one draft pick on a wide receiver in '23. I don't necessarily have anything against Claypool. Barring hearing that he was a complete and total a-hole as a teammate and/or employee, I wish him well. The Steelers traded an asset (no small donkey jokes, please) for a high second round draft pick. Hopefully Claypool goes on to have a productive career and the Steelers use the pick for a road grading tackle.

I'm not an uber fan or anything. I like some of their stuff. If I had to pick a favorite, probably "Sad But True". I Like Hetfield and Kirk Hammet, but I think Lars Ulrich is a Grade A, jumbo sized douche bag. I put Geddy Lee in the same boat. I always thought he was an arrogant prick, too.

I agree with no WRs in first two rounds. But Zay Flowers in 3rd or 4th is tempting.

How the hell does anyone describe Les playing bass? He has no peer. He is not from this planet.

What’s kind of scary is that the QB room may need a rebuild.
Can’t you just see them screwing this up?

News in the back is that Tomlin wanted to go all out and trade 10 first rounders just to acquire Roquan and any other plays to salvage a winning season.

Front office sat him down and had “the talk” then proceeded to trade Claypool.

he called Ben to come back… even asked the 08 team if they wanted to fill in for the rest of the season… no one answered. 845A7587-5586-41EC-B7D8-A108A4C303EB.jpeg

He wasn’t getting a contract after next year. I have no issue with him being traded.
