Yeah, that one is up there too, but I still go with Russel Wilson.

But I think that DeShaun Watson has some skills. I have always thought that Russell Wilson is over rated, and now over the hill too. At least (IMO), the Browns have a shot at getting some value out of it.

I can't believe anyone would trade for him... Mapletron should be playing in the Canadian League right now.

I didn't notice they got a 7th back, so, it really is like getting him for nothing. But he's not only a problem in executing, he seems like a team cancer as well. No thanks.

Short term, if he gets his head straight he could be a beast in that O, even with limited opportunities as they have many weapons. As this is a contract year, if he shuts up and they win he may get a one year deal and yet another chance, or some dumb GM will see something and give him a contract and regret it, lol.

I said there were threads pertaining to Claypool's falling out with the Bears. Are you both suggesting that we need not only those, but then another for the Bears' subsequent trading of him? Do we then need another for tracking his usage/performance in Miami?

What Jeh is posting within a(nother repeat) thread has nothing to do with creating repeat threads that clog the board and make it harder for other users to find content. Weird. User friendliness.

Don’t think the risk/reward is worth it for Miami. Chase is not a good teammate, he’s lazy and half asses it during games.

He’s a physical specimen that could be a very good player if he put in the work. We’ll see if Miami can get his head right.

He wasn't washed until he hurt his elbow. Hell, I'd take a washed Ben over anything we have at QB now

Yes, I for one am looking forward to see what Claypool does in Miami with Mike McDaniels. Claypool thread in the General NFL forum for watching his time down in Miami.

I think the Claypool thread is eventually going to turn into another Bash Canada thread, because he has wasted Claypool's talents when he was here in Pittsburgh. Claypool's big year came when Canada was nothing but a QB coach. Right now it is beginning to look like Canada is going to do the same damn thing to Pickens.

Look what happened with Claypool in Chicago. No, this should not be another thread bashing Matt Canada. Maybe he can be fixed, but for most of his pro career, Claypool has been the problem.

Miami’s not taking much risk. Swapping a 6th for a 7th in 2025 ain’t much. If he’s a problem from the jump, the Dolphins will cut him. If they get a half season of production out of him before he goes sour, and that gets them the division, I suspect they’ll take it. Cost is low, and Miami doesnt need much upside to cover it.

Maybe he was half assing it to get out of Chicago, I don't recall that lack of effort with the Steelers.

Bears trade WR Chase Claypool and a 7th-round pick to the Dolphins for a 6th-round pick.

I am amazed they got anyone willing to give him a couple million.

I meant as far as dividing the locker room. His brief stint in Chicago had players angry with him.

Things are pretty good in Miami right now and not sure where Claypool even fits in? He’s going to be asked to do a lot of the things he didnt like doing in Chicago. He wants to be the alpha dog, not blocking and getting low volume targets.

What a disastrous trade for the Bears, they gave up #32 and got nothing from Chase Claypool. Steelers were very lucky.

It’s a no-risk no-brainer for Miami who have zero depth behind Hill and Waddle. Whatever we think about Chase, he has talent and McDaniels knows how to get the best from his players on offence. It’ll be interesting to see how Miami handles him and how they work him in (if at all).

A winning team can change anyone's attitude.

Uhhhh....He was around a 11-0 team His 1st year, and yes I know how it turned out, but Miami hasn't won a playoff game since 23 years....so...
Although I expect that to change this year....if Tua stays healthy....which is a might big if.....since I haven't seen Him stay healthy since He played HS.
