The Chips seem to be collecting unwanted Steelers lately. So, I guess the big playmaker we have been salivating over ain’t him.
He is still only 26. Seems like he has been around longer, maybe it is because he entered the journeyman phase of his career early.

Maybe they will let him have music in the locker room.

Hey you get ride of a Top 5 WR, you have to bring in one. :) Or was that a Top 3?

I thought Claypool's best shot at making a turnaround was going to be last year in Miami working with Mike McDaniel's offense.

If Josh Allen gets hurt then the Mitch Trubisky to Chase Claypool combination will bring Lombardi #1 to the Bills.

If he doesn’t produce there I won’t be surprised if this is his last team.

I thought Claypool was going to be a big time receiver. Good thing I'm not a scout!

He has/had all the intangibles, except attitude and desire. Even if he never made all pro level, he could be/should be a sought after number 2..so far he has only shown number 2.

If he could get his head on straight he would have been perfect for this offense. From a physicality standpoint at least. He stunk at contested catches.

Chase now on team #3 since leaving the Steelers
At least he avoided going to the CFL

When Chase danced with the ball after a catch (instead of handing it right away to the ref) against the Vikings in Minnesota when the Steelers were trying to come back in the game and time was precious. I saw all I needed to... next.....

If he does that in Buffalo Josh Allen will drill him in the back of the head with the football.

This. The muscle between his ears seemed to be underdeveloped.

C'mon now. Chase would fall down way before the ball hit him in the back of the head.

    My thoughts exactly.

My biggest question is how is Josh Allen going to handle him?! He has already dealt with a more talented but equally distracting wide out in the form of Stefon Diggs. As far as I see it, not a good idea to bring a malcontent into the locker room when you just dealt one away.

Much like @Blast Furnace stated, if this doesn't work.... then it is not gonna work.

I have been reading some things on Bears and Bills boards. Bears fans’ thoughts on Claybrains are interchangeable with ours. Most Bills fans consider him no more than camp fodder.
What a waste of talent. Many of us on this board would kill for the opportunities he has had.
I think that anyone who is not a chomo or an amputee can get a 1 year contract of some kind. He may not make it out of the Bills’ OTAs. The thing is, he is young enough to turn it around and fool all of us. Would not bet on it, though.

Good luck to him, the Steelers got an unbelievable deal from the Bears when he left

Perhaps the fact that three teams have now cut bait might have humbled him a bit. The talent is there if he puts his head down and works

My guess is he won’t however, and he is out of the league sooner rather than later

Since I am a big Allen fan, I would like to see Claypool turn things around. It would be nice to see him help Allen get a super bowl.

He's just another run Qb as far as I'm concerned. I could careless if He ever wins a SB.

Most definitely this is his last chance. Don't really expect him to do much in Buffalo either though

Not going to hate on him. Didn’t work out here for one reason or another and we got a king’s ransom for him. Worked out well for us. If he’s committed to football the wish him the best with the Bills.
