We do play the Texans this year. That much does have something to do with the Steelers. For that matter, how well CJ Stroud improves from now until October 1st will determine whether or not if the game will be won or lost.

Pretty spot on, I think the one thing I would be concerned about is more physical than emotional. You throw that many picks like Manning the Coach's can help minimize the impact by constantly reaffirming, teaching and letting him know we are going to get better talent around you. It's more difficult to overcome both the physical and emotional impact when you are sacked and beaten up every week.

 

Will Levis- 9/14, 86 yds, interception.
Anthony Richardson- 7/12, 67 yds, interception.
Bryce Young- 4/6, 21 yds
CJ Stroud- 2/4, 13 yds, interception.

 

Giving up that kind of draft capital is insane. Even when Lance is on the field he doesn't even come close to what they gave up and has struggled.

Lynch can take some solace at least it wasn't a Ditka draft

 

And I'm not worried about Stroud, or the Texans this season, they won't be facing Tommy Maddox of 2002 .

 

I still think it's too early to give up on Lance, dude needs to stay healthy for an entire season to see if he can actually play.

Yeah.... among the many mistakes Mike Ditka made during his Coaching Career... doubt he lives that one down.

 

All expected from my point of view. Best takeaway though among the four is that Anthony Richardson looked a lot more in command and in control after the INT. Furthermore, he didn't seem overwhelmed... just outmatched. Give him time as well.



Shane Steichen (he Coached up Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts) has a pretty damn good new QB to work with.
