Houston too many injuries, and probably too old
Ford will be getting 15 million a year not interested
    Mosley would have some interest

People didn't think James Harrison would go to New England either. How'd that turn out?!

First Mosely and now Weddle released. Makes me think the Rats are making a play for Bell. Ugh really don't want to deal with that prospect at twice a year minimum.

They didn't tag Mosley and are letting him test the waters but one beat writer tweeted that the Ravens have never not signed a first round pick to a second contract after the rookie deal had expired. So while cutting Weddle might be a cap saving move not sure both can be looked at as clearing space to go after Bell.

I am not sure money is an issue for them they have 18 mil in space now and will have a ton more when they trade Flacco. They have a lot of needs and LB is one of them with Suggs, CJ and Smith all FA's. My opinion is they don't let CJ go and will spend a ton on him, they do need a RB so Bell could be an option.

I feel pretty sure that the Ravens will find a way to keep Mosley. I’ve also read that they are expected to go hard after Tyrann Mathieu. If they go after Bell, fine with me. In my view Bell is going to get his money and become a non-factor by the 2nd or 3rd year of his new contract. I just don’t see him having the love of the game.

I agree Jets, Raiders, Colts and Dolphins are spot for Bell and he will once again test positive and be gone. I said it before when he was sitting out IMO one of the major reasons he didn't come back was cause he couldn't pass the drug test and it would have killed him in FA's.

I think you are dead on with CJ and Mathieu, I also think id they miss on Mathieu Collins in in there sights.

I’d be good if they spend big on Collins. Throw on them all day. I’d much rather that than having them get Mathieu.

Another mistake by the front office and he will get rewarded for 4 years of mediocrity because well, he got a hangnail better this past season some say :lolol: It will be another year of Dupree is horrible threads, because he is. Let him go to another team and watch the struggles from afar.

I have been on the Collins train but the more I look at him the more I am not willing to spend the big money there. The safety class is loaded no need to spend major money when we can get very good players for half the price. Jmo.

Darian Stewart was just released by the broncos, a lot of FA safties out there.

Stewart, who signed a four-year extension in 2016, had two years remaining on his contract and was due base salaries of $4.75 million in 2019 and 2020.

Over the past four seasons for the Broncos, Stewart appeared in 61 games with 58 starts and was a key member of the once-vaunted "No Fly Zone" in Denver. He totaled 250 tackles, nine interceptions and 24 passes defensed while manning his safety position on the back end of coverage. Before signing with the Broncos in 2015, he played for the Baltimore Ravens (2014) and St. Louis Rams (2010-13).

The veteran now joins a crowded group of free-agent safeties, which includes Earl Thomas, Landon Collins, Eric Weddle, Tyrann Mathieu, Kenny Vaccaro, Lamarcus Joyner and HaHa Clinton-Dix, among others, on the open market.

Nice list of guys let’s hipe we add Burnett to that list. Also one name not on there that may end up in Dever is Amos. Fangio had him in Chicago and there was talk about how they would both like to be in Denver. I feel that is why Stewart was released.

I'm not so sure about that horrible in coverage part..... it was a pretty heady play he made to intercept Baker Mayfield and knock us out of the playoffs

It was one play. Vince Williams had a pick-six last season. The year before, he made a nice play to intercept Tom Brady. I still wouldn't say that VW is good in coverage.

Yeah but is he worth 15 million a year, if he's average in coverage?
