How would people rank the following LB's

    Houston (KC)
    D. Ford (KC)
    Mosley (FA)

Rank who you'd like for LB..

Personally, I am fine if we get rid of Bud.. He hasn't lived up to potential surely..
If we had Watt, VW, (one of the above 3) and draft a LB (or put in Bostic) then we would have upgraded drastically..
I do agree that we haven't done enough to replace/help fill the shazier void.

The problem is that assumes those players make it to them in the draft. For example, I've seen one mock draft that had the Steelers taking Bush. I've seen others that had Bush long gone by that point.

Collins would certainly be an upgrade, but he's got some holes in his game. I heard a lot more grumbling about his play this year in New York, especially against the pass.

Obtaining CJ Mosley would aliveate quite a bit of any remaining concerns for certain. The key here is price. How much does he want?! We shall soon see.

I must have inadvertently hit the dislike button groutbrook. I am not a Dupree hater but 9.2mil is too much for his production. I would love to see him come off the bench as a sub or package player at around 2-3mil a year.

I agree with this. I'd love to have him as a backup at backup pay. He's not a legit starting edge player though. At least not yet, and I'm tired of waiting for his on-field play to catch up with his raw physical ability. I want Shaq Barrett - the anti-Bud.

He is better than anyone in this years draft, I hope the Steelers do try and make it happen.
I am sure Baltimore will see how it goes.

I stand by my statement. He won't come to the steelers. He will do just like " that guy that you're not talking about" .... say thanks but no thanks

I’d be surprised if they don’t extend him to a more friendly contract.

I agree that they should pursue this FA pick up but not get into an overspending bidding war with other teams which will more than likely happen. Set a reasonable amount that you are willing to give but don't go beyond it in a certain to happen spending frenzy. If he wants a Championship then he will show some interest in the Steelers. If he is strictly after a biggest payday only then we are already out of the running.

Can the Steelers FO may that claim with the state of this team right now? Being a Super Bowl contender? I don't think they can. I have them as the 5-6 best team in the AFC right now. They are not even top 10 in the nfl

The Rams just cut Mark Barron and the Ravens dumped Weddle. Going to be a lot of big names out there looking for work. Will the new philosophy be ton sign some band aid guys until the youth is ready?

I think he would be coming off the bench for a lot of other teams....

    Weddle is over the hill....
Interestingly they compared Adderly to a young Weddle.....now I would take that.

Despite how bad the past couple of off seasons have been with certain players and their outrageous demands the Steelers are very much still in post season discussion with the amount of talent that remains in place. Add a couple of key pieces and winning the AFC NORTH is easily attainable along with a legit shot at going deep in the playoffs and on to a Championship.

I would love to agree with you my man, time will tell! This is one of the more important off seasons in franchise history. They are all important, I get that but the turmoil last two seasons has been craaaazy.

Crazy would be an understatement but this team still has some exceptional players on it. Especially on offense. It's the coaching that will hold them back if they miss the playoffs. That, in itself is not questionable what so ever.

Started all 48 games in his 3 seasons with the Ravens, 220 tackles, 10 Ints and 3 sacks.

That doesn't suck. He's a great field general, kind of thing that could be helpful to the Steelers.

But, he's 34 and there are other names they should look at first but don't be surprised if he ends up on the Steelers. The money will probably be in their ballpark.

They should have signed him 3 years ago. Freaking Ladarius Green

I'm having second thoughts on Mosley, a lot of Ravens fans said he's not good in coverage, that would concern me with having to pay him big money.

I'd definitely be in the bidding war for Mosley. I think he's going to make bank. 26 years old with 4 pro bowl appearances. He's going to get paid.

PFF rated Weddle as their #10 safety in the NFL last year.

He’s OK in coverage, but he makes his living stopping the run.
