Better than Shazier? I know he’s better than what we have but would he be a deal breaker?

 

I wouldn't worry about him jumping into the first gap he sees and letting the runningback go right by him.

 

I don't think the Steelers will get into a bidding war for him. It would definitely be an upgrade though.

I like for Mosley to play ML instead of Vince Williams, and then the Steelers could still draft White from LSU, now that would be a great MLB duel.

 

The Steelers already made their high-dollar linebacker investment...Bud Dupree.

 

I'd take him over Shazier in a heartbeat (depending on what it would cost).

We never went after Mosely. He’s been under contract.
I’m not worried about Hightower since this discussion is not about him.

 

Even though he does horrible in coverage, I would love to have Mosley on the squad.. It would answer some questions, and team him up with the possibility of getting Bush from Michigan... would be pretty intense..

?? We drafted Shazier, Mosley went 2 picks later, can you really say you'd take one over the other? Neither player was perfect coming out of college, they both had durability concerns. I was happy with Shazier's performance up until his injury.

 

I don't like in either @Roonatic , but 9.2 mil is a pretty big investment for one season of Bud Dupree, no?

 

Sign him up then go after Houston after KC cuts him and try and get Collins........man what an off season that would be. Send Dud, Burnett and Burns packing and we would have enough money for it all......

The Steelers don't have even one long-term answer at inside linebacker right now. Mosley would be a perfect addition for them. The problem is that the Steelers would have to spend in a competitive market for the guy and that isn't likely to happen.

 

I'm sure in the unrealistic scenario that Pittsburgh was the only team to show interest and offered him $50 million, that he'd turn it down...

At the end of the day, none of those guys give a damn what team it is. Money talks...

 

I would rather go after Landon Collins and then draft Bush or White. Or sign Collins, take Murphy in the first and Mack in the 2nd.
