I've seen guys get checked out during a game and let back in, but never seen someone who was showing as bad of symptoms as Burfict let back in.

 

Worked out in favor as I said he was definitely going to get a penalty after that!

Yep. When the game was live I was hoping for all runs, even thru 4th down. If we did that, there would have been what, maybe 16 seconds left with Bungles far away from a TD and no time outs? No real risk.

Had the Bungles picked Ben`s throw, we would have to had sweat out another one. Who knows what could have happened with all the stupid penalties we make? Bungles start on the 20 with over a minute, pass interference on a deep throw, Bungles throwing passes in the end zone.... NOOOOOOO! Thankfully, that never happened.

Why did we do it? We would be screaming for Tomlin`s head had the worst happened. This was a special situation due to the time and time outs remaining and field position that called for a conservative run play. There has to be reward vs risk taken. If Tomlin keeps allowing poor risk vs reward decisions to happen, it`s going to cost us a big game eventually.

It`s too easy to say we won, so forget about it. That was a very bad decision that did not result in disaster.....this time.

We would've had to settle for a fg and left the drama up to the defense. If there is a bonehead call...it would be going for 2pt conversion
