Overreacting to a personal issue between two people in a close relationship with obvious alcohol involvement. Not a good reason to destroy someone's career. There hasn't even been a conviction.

Personally I think 'exempt' is ridiculous, although I've never cared too much for his play. Very average to unimpressive imo. I still wonder why they are hiding Adenyi. I guess we'll find out soon enough

SKipper was picked up again by the Giants and put on their practice squad. So we lost out on our best option...

Please, just stop. A 6-foot-3, 253-pound man was arrested for assaulting a woman and you think it's not a big enough deal let it damage his career? Seriously?

Maybe in the end, he is found innocent, but if he actually did hit her, he needs to go.

It would be an absolute joke to destroy his career over an isolated domestic dispute. Why is there no talk about destroying her Olympian career for being a potential aggressor?

My guess is this is an isolated domestic dispute where emotions ran high exacerbated by alcohol. Whether he's 250 or not doesn't matter. She is also an Olympic athlete if people want to go there. She has since dropped the charges also which tells me she is not entirely innocent in the matter either and knows it.

Either way I don't condone domestic abuse, but unless there is a pattern here with Chikillio that's not what this is despite how much people want to paint their own preliminary conclusions. Ultimately this is a matter between him and this girl and the rest of the world needs to butt out of their business IMO.

Until theirs a conviction for Chikillo being guilty there should be ZERO penalty for him.
