Cheifs/Titans AFC Wildcard Game

    The Titans are not looking that great in this game. The defense has livened up a little in the 2nd quarter, but so far, KC is outplaying them.

    I don't think KC is playing that great, Tennessee just isn't getting it done.

    Tennessee just isn't a very good team.

    They dont play well from behind either or on the road.

    AFC wildcard teams weren't very impressive.

    Wow, thought KC made a mistake by not getting out of bounds and/or using a TO. Worked out for them.

    Funny to watch Lebeau's secondary getting picked a part. A HOF defensive coach but his secondaries are constantly getting torched.

    I predicted a 34-14 Chiefs win. I may have been too conservative. I think they may put up a 40 burger. Tennessee is not a good team.

    It's just too common place in the NFL now. If you don't get immediate pressure, they find the holes in it.

    Even when he mixes in some man. It doesn't fool anyone.

    I keep hearing about how QB play keeps getting worse and worse. Yet, year after year, passing yards continue to climb.

    Are OCs getting that much better than DCs?

    Me too.

    I think the review process has been horrible in this game. A few plays not getting reviewed/overturned.

    Yeah I would agree. Even though I think he was past the LOS, wasn't called that way on the field. Inconclusive. Play stands.

    I generally do like to side with the refs call on the field over replay review. Just not a Jeff Tripplette crew. :lolol:

    That's a tough one. I know Adoree Jackson is a rookie but he is the guy you want back there.

    The rules have made it harder to play defense. There was a playoff game a decade or so back(pats bs colts). The pats abused the colts wide receivers. Hit them at every possible opportunity and it took a toll. By the third quarter the receivers were visibily timid, by reaching for balls etc. In the off-season the nfl changed the rules again to protect the wide receivers.

    I’ve got to say, some nice gut checks by Tennessee. First, coming out of a horrid first half playing much better to close the gap a bit. Second, their defense stoning KC after the muffed punt. I still think KC will hold on and win, but Tennessee has definitely come out in the second half with confidence and desire.
