To the Vikings in LA 27-20. The Chargers are a good team but they aren’t a team that is unbeatable by any stretch. Their defense stinks and while Herbert is pretty good he has made some mistakes and hasn’t played well the last few weeks. So we shall see what happens with the Steelers injuries and Ben’s status but this game against the Chargers is very winnable. It will be a huge game as far as playoff implications are concerned.

The Chargers aren't that good, in fact they're overrated, I think they're last in the league against the run.

Chargers are always a tough out for the Steelers.
Herbert will tear us a new one and explode after a few middling games. You can take that to the bank. But hopefully Steelers CB`s can snag a few.

Hard to imagine a team having a worst run D than us. The Lions just ran for the most yards they have had since 1946

Steelers bounced back to a degree after the 1-3 start but it’s time to fade them these last 8 games at the casino. 1-7 best case scenario.

We play both of those teams, who have multiple playmakers and can get to the QB. Two L's on the horizon.

Just like your prediction of the team couldn't find three more wins earlier this season .

Yea we were 1-3 when those thoughts started coming to the conversation. They already won 4 but might not win another barring an opponents entire roster having Covid and forfeiting. Browns and Bengals both look like crap right now too though so there is that.

Oh, yay, jujubean is back. We must have lost, since he disappeared the last 4 weeks.

Steelers Defense just has too many banged up I’m afraid.
    Today was rough.

maybe a shootout is coming with the Chargers?
Can the Steeler Offense pull that off?

The Chargers aren't that great, but it won't matter if Watt and Haden can't play. I'd be very surprised if Watt was able to go next week. Blowing the chance to win was ugly, but the injuries today will have far more of a lasting impact on this season.

Change that to Watt. Without him this team is done!

This is a huge game next week now looking at the records. The Steelers are 5–3-1 and the Chargers are 5-4. So winning this game puts you at 6-3-1 and drops the Chargers to 5-5 and puts you almost 2 games ahead of them as opposed to losing this game drops the Steelers to 5-4-1 and the Chargers would be 6-4 and a 1 full game ahead of the Steelers. So this game will be huge. Hopefully the Steelers get healthy for this game. I think this is a winnable game. The Steelers always rise up and play well in prime time and there will be a ton of Steelers fans at this game in LA too. So it’s a big one no doubt and a game the Steelers really need to win now and make up for the tie that happened yesterday.

We couldn’t beat a winless team and people are saying the Chargers aren’t that good.

Chargers are such a better team than Detroit and they have a much better QB AND the game is out west.

Maybe the Chargers aren’t that good but neither are we.

Only happy if he’s unhappy. Don’t worry though soon he will declare that he is done for the season. Will at least get a few days break from his negativity before he shows back up.
Remember this gem from last year.

Yea they are a much better team then the Lions no doubt. This will be a very tough game. But it’s not a game I look at and say they have zero chance to win. The Chargers stink on defense and this is definitely a game the Steelers can win is all I was saying. It’s not a guaranteed loss like I thought it was earlier in the season.

I’ll agree with that, they aren’t playing well, either.

Deck is stacked against the Steelers, injuries are mounting and even if Ben plays, it will be another week without practice, he wasn’t exactly sharp before he stopped practicing.

Which is why we'll come out, sans Ben, and throw 50 times.

The Steelers play like crap in California. However they did have some good games in San Diego but they no longer play there so we shall see.
