Until they can prove they can beat the Patriots, then I really don't get excited in these type of predictions.

 

We will never be the favourite until we prove we can beat the Pats, or Brady retires, which ever comes first. We may very well beat NE at some point, but we won't be the favourites going into the match

 

The gist of the article seemed to be:

The Steelers have a good team.
Next year they will have a good team, possibly better.
But they are inconsistent.
And you have to play man to beat Brady (this based on a sample of two games, none of which were actual defeats for the Pats).


I'm glad that the writer was paid for those stunningly in-depth observations.

 

predictions mean jack squat. there are so many factors that actually come into play during a season. my prediction is if at the end of the season the Steelers are in the super bowl than they made it to the super bowl. you can take that to the bank.

Consistency is the key and we all know where the majority of the inconsistency comes from. It does not appear to be correctable.

31 teams in the league better be trying to improve their teams to beat the cheats. Well, 28, because we know the Jets, Dolphins, and Bill's don't care. Point is, if your not getting better, with every one else doing so, you're getting worse.
