He better be in the new Hall of Honor or whatever it is. He too me is what this all about. A great Steeler and probably the best 3-4 NT ever but will never see the actual HOF. Speaking of Casey. Here is my dog Big Snack

    That's a tough one.

There is no doubt he was the lynch pin of our run defense for a decade. And statistically, our run defense was one if the best in the league over that time.

Obviously Big Snack will never get the HOF, but the Steelers Hall of Honour, I could see it.

Watching Aaron Smith and Snack play side by side for all those years was inspiring.

Aaron Smith should be considered for the Hall. Unfortunately the job that both performed is not sexy, numbers driven. Lunch pale, @ss kicking do your job individuals. Trenches. They are both in my Hall of Fame...

I loved those years. I played across the dline for 12 years and just love it in the trenches. While what we have now is very very good give me Beard, Snack, and Smith all day everyday. I will never forget watching a 350 pound big snack out in the flat in coverage or him in the bumblebee jersey.

I agree. Aaron Smith was probably one of the most Underrated DL during his time in the league. Unlikely he sees the HOF.

Don't forget though, writers have a say and Peter King had Smith on his all-decade team.

They said they will add a few each year, so he has potential.

I like the dog. He appears to have an equally energetic friend on the sofa?

Haha that's Sidney my 8 year old Aussie. That's where she spends most of her days. Big snack is still just a puppy he's still got a good bit of growing to do.

I had this argument recently. People say Wilfork is a lock in for the HoF and I'm saying if that's true then Casey Hampton has to be in there as well. They are both 5x Pro Bowlers and 2x Super Bowl Champions.

Exactly. If you look at the position they play and the role they played they both are HOFers in my opinion. To me if you are in the conversation for most dominant ever in your position you are in the discussion for HOF. To me both of them are in the discussion for best NT ever. Unfortunately like many have said though they want stats and sacks and tackles which you just aren't going to get from the nose. Hampton and Wilfork both ate up 3 blockers and shut down the center of the line. I would still take Hampton over Wilfork but I'm biased.

It's a tough deal being a lineman on a team with several potential Hall of Famers.
