Average with high highs, and low lows. I’ve watched games where he looks composed and hits pretty much every throw, and others where I’m like “whoa, is that Carr or Lamar with a broken leg?”

I think that the Saints are in deep cap purgatory

This. He is very inconsistent. I believe I seen this week where their offense has only been Higher than 20 th one time since He was the Qb. No team let's a Qb they really believe in just walk away.

They have ways that they can clear cap room and now that he is a free agent it would be easy to set a contract up with a very low initial cap hit, accelerating in later years when they are over this hump. The saints more than any other team in the league are happy to push money in to the future

He will probably talk to a lot of different teams before making a decision now, Jets etc, but I certainly wouldn’t rule New Orleans out

Jets would be a good place for a decent QB to go. With Tua injuries, Miami has an excellent offensive-minded HC and no state income tax vs NY.
