Cap Situation 3/13/13

Here's where I think we stand with our "Rule of 51" cap number as of today. I am making 3 assumptions because of contract numbers not being released yet for certain resignings: 1) Johnson 1 year/$715k/$0 signing bonus (vet min); 2) Burress 1 year/$940k/$0 signing bonus (vet min); 3) Foote - same numbers as Gay's contract (it should be close). I have not used any of the $250k vet exemptions in my calculations yet, but they are available should we need them. I would guess that both Plax's contract and Johnson's contract qualify (not sure about the multi-year deals).

I have us at about $10.5 million under the cap after accounting for dead money. There's plenty of room to resign Lewis, sign our draft picks and make a couple more non-splash moves.
