    They have Alabama number 5...LoL.
Behind Iowa, Oklahoma, and Cincinnati. Knowing neither of the 3 could beat them, and neither of the 3 have played as many top 25 teams.
Seems someone is trying 2 keep Bama away from the playoffs. IMO

As said many times I don't follow NCAA but I am a PITT fan. I see they are 4-1. Not sure if they are ranked? I going to watch them for the first time in many years. ESPN2 at 3:30. Sure hope I see a winner!!

Rankings sort themselves out. It really doesn't matter what your ranked mid/late October.

Bama's #2 in the playoff standings, the same place they would have been had they not lost to an unranked team.

    They're overrated if anything.

Again do You watch football, or just read about it. You do give me many chuckles. When they lost 2 them they weren't unranked.

Pretty sure I cursed Pitt. Don't really follow college but jumped on the bandwagon and so far they lost at home and at present losing to a 3-5 team.

To me Oregon is the big surprise in the playoff rankings. The committee seems to be giving them a huge boost for the win over Ohio State.

Because Most Consider OHst a Very Talented team. It's not over Yet though. I think Ohio St...May still make it.

If OSU wins out they're in, I just don't know if they will. Purdue is a giant-killer, then it's MSU, Mich, and if they win those, the B1G championship.

Well, they really picked it up vs. Purdue and MSU. Offense is next level, young defense has grown up. Stroud has weapons at every level and the OL is really good.

Umm, wow! Did not see Michigan doing that to Ohio State! Holy cow I know Stroud threw for almost 400 yards, but the scoreboard doesn't lie!

That Iron Bowl was crazy! a 10-0 game down to the last 6 minutes and you get a 4 overtime thriller!

Whether they're as good as past teams or not, that Alabama team has some heart.

I watched a good portion of both games, and they were the most entertaining college games I’ve watched this year. Great football.

Agreed. Great Games. Like I said before....about time Michigan beat Ohio State....they've been like the little stepbrother 2 them. Does Bama still get into the Playoffs if they lose 2 Georgia in the SEC championship???, or if the opposite happens....what about Georgia??
    How about Michigan ???

    My view:
    1. Cincinnati is in with a win, and out with a loss.
    2. I think Georgia is in no matter what unless they get blown out badly by Alabama.
    3. Michigan is in with a win, and the entire Big 10 is out with a Michigan loss.
    4. Alabama is in with a win, and probably out with a loss and an Oklahoma state win.
    5. Oklahoma state/Baylor winner I is in with a win and a loss by Cincinnati, Michigan or (probably) Alabama

    My predicted seedings/results:
    1. Georgia
    2. Michigan
    3. Cincinnati
    4. Oklahoma state

    Georgia 41-7 over OSU
    Michigan 45-20 over Cincinnati

    Georgia 23-9 over Michigan

I agree, but I honestly think 5 teams behind Cincinnati would beat Cincinnati easily, and should be taking their spot, but I agree this is probably what will happen.

The likely 5th team is Notre Dame, and Cincinnati beat them in South Bend. They deserve the chance more than the teams with losses.

Will You still believe that if they get blown out??? I believe Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Baylor would destroy them. That's not counting the teams they will actually face in the playoffs. I think You are correct they probably should be in, but still I believe it will be for not.
Wish they would just start making it an 8 game playoffs now.

In the Peach Bowl 11 months ago, Georgia needed a 4th quarter comeback to beat this same Cincinnati team 24-21. A few years earlier UCF from the same conference took down an Auburn team that had beaten Alabama. The gap isn’t as big as you think it is. Ohio State would probably smoke them, but Ole Miss and Baylor? Doubtful.

Agree 100% on an 8 team playoff being better.

What you are leaving out is Georgia had 5 starters that didn't play in that bowl game 2 get ready for the NFL. That's why I said earlier about the bowl games outside of the playoffs are a freaking joke now. Their are hardly any bowl games now where coach's, and players out side of the playoffs are even playing in.
Also remember what you just said at the end of the Playoffs.
