yup. 2 games behinds BAL. thanks to afc record, Pittsburgh needs to have a better record tho.

So BAL needs to go 1-3 or 0-4 for the rest with Pittsburgh winning out (or in the case of a rat's 0-4, go 3-1).

BAL REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Redskins (5-6), vs. Broncos (9-3), vs. Giants (7-4), at Bengals (7-5)
PIT REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Chargers (4-8), at Cowboys (5-6), vs. Bengals (7-5), vs. Browns (4-8)

Actually possible for Pittsburgh to win out if Ben is back next week when SD visits. @DAL is the only game that worries me a bit (with a healthy Ben).
For BAL ... I see two losses on the road (@WAS, @CIN - they plainly suck on the road), a loss to the Broncos at home and the Giants are likely to kick their asses too.

So crazy as it sounds, if Ben is back next week and healthy ...

Yes, but it would take a catastrophic collapse on Baltimore's part.

Well, they do have a very tough schedule the rest of the way- @Washington, Denver, NY Giants, @ Cincy.

They can lose very easily in Denver too. They are going to be battle worn by the end of the season. If they pull out the division they should go down first round.

This right here....BUT I have said for weeks that Baltimore is highly over-rated. The WORST 9-2 and now 9-3 team in the league. They've caught soooo many breaks and are really unimpressive if you look past their record.

Count me in with that too, I've been on the over rated train all year.

Even if the Steelers don't catch them - they'll be the most dangerous team going into the playoffs - assuming they're healthy. No one will want to play them.

Me too. This fantasy poser the other day was telling me that the Rats are good and I was saying that they are vastly overrated and it starts with their reject qb. Their d is ranked in the bottom 20's is it not? Here's how I know I'm talking to a VERY casual football fan. He also told me that Mike Wallace is the best player the Steelers have. THAT'S the kind of people Baltimore fools. Steeler fans??? WE AINT FOOLED BY NO STINKIN' BODY!!

Which team do we need to lose the most? I was figuring it would help if Indy would go down. It really sucked that the Bungles won today as well. I just hope that this game is the start of something and also I wanna see an EPIC beatdown of the clowns too!

    Steelers remaining schedule:

    Chargers (we should win)
    Cowboys (we should win)
Bengals (beat them once, will beat them again and get them off our backs)
Browns (8 turnovers and we lost by 4 points. play a half decent game, we win)

    Baltimore remaining schedule:

Redskins (Ravens win probably, but who knows)
    Denver (Loss)
    Giants (Loss)
Bengals (Ravens win probably, but who knows)

A little birdie told me that Suggs is injured again and may be out for the season.

    Does that change things any??

Correction - the little birdie said that he would miss "significant time".

The fact that we've lost to 3 really bad teams and still have a slim shot at the division is absolutely amazing!

I'm not really sure if it does or not. I think their D is not what it used to be anyway. BUT I think it would hurt them if he's down and Ray Lewis doesn't come back. It probably would be best for them to have them both out there but who cares what's best for them? Not I says me.

If we win the divison, it would be the biggest choke job I have ever seen. But, man I would love for it to happen, would love to go to a home playoff game, looks like it will be two years without one.

I see Baltimore going AT BEST 1-3 over the last 4. I've said it over and over and over again, they were the worst 9-2 team in the history if the NFL.

So - that equals a division championship for the Steelers if they win out. Wow - it would be the biggest choke in my memory. However, that's what you get when you peak early and play above your head.

I can see them losing to Denver for sure and maybe CIncy. God if we coulda got the win from the Browns game, we would be sitting more prettier.
