The Dolphins look like they will have to go with rookie Skylar Thompson. They just signed Mike Glennon who will be his emergency backup.

Everything can work in Steelers favor. Have hope have confidence -- lots of people went from wanting us to tank to now fretting over bills. The Bills will play harder than u can imagine.hmmmm wonder why? The Jets can win.Steelers beating the Browns as much trash the Browns talk Steelers should be very motivated.+ Tomlins winning season. Matt Canada fighting for his job. Oh, it can happen but--- will it?

LOL. I got you now Mike Mcdaniel Head Coach of Miami. Not Josh McDaniels Head coach of Vegas. Mike's last name is McDaniel not Mcdaniels like Josh that is why I was confused.

I have not heard anything about Mike McDaniel getting fired.

There's strange rumors out there, on Twitter about the potential of 8 AFC teams in the playoffs equalling in no byes. I'd kinda hate this, but it is what it is.

Steelers will be a tough 7 seed. Offense is playing better and defense is pretty healthy (even Watt is coming on again)

However, we were really lucky to get in last year, that kind of luck doesn't happen often. Honestly, I'd be surprised if things fall our way and we get in again.

I just read an article, that the Steelers defense is #1 in the NFL since the game Watt returned.

Lol.... there's a couple articles out there now.
I think one reads: "Win or else" something like that.
If I read it, there's probably a ton a spelling errors.

not surprised, the team is peaking as a whole, but is it too late for this year? I think they would be a tough out for Buffalo (assuming their the 2nd seed).

Winning 7 of last 9 games (assuming victory vs Browns) is not limping.

2020, after starting 11-0 and finishing 12-4 was limping.

Agreed. I don't think either of the McDaniel/McDaniels will be sitting comfortable in the chairs come Monday.

I would take Mike McDaniel to come in here and be the new Offensive Coordinator / Assistant Head Coach / Future Mike Tomlin Successor in a heart beat.

The rumor gaining steam is intriguing. Would the NFL go to 8 playoff teams and forego the bye week? And then play the AFC championship at a neutral site. I can't get my head around it.

Nevermind...I guess the NFL determined they will not make up the game. Unless they let 8 teams in the Steelers chances may have just went down to zero.

The steelers odds of making the playoffs are exactly the same as they were when we woke up this morning. If anything, if they add an 8th team, their odds have gone up. The steelers would still have to win their own game, and have either of the jets or bills win, instead of both.

Neutral site title games are interesting. Finding sites can be rough but easy to figure out shortlists. Domed stadiums

I wonder if the league would do the Bills a big favor and have the AFC title game in nearby Detroit.

I say the scored was 7-3... Put 7 ping balls in for Cincy 3 in for Buffalo...

Play the PA lottery tune, and pop a winner out....

You say its crazy but I say with how Cincy was playing they had a 70% chance of winning that game and Buffalo was probably looking at 30% chance..

If it comes down to the Chiefs and Bills then the most logical choice would be Nashville. No Dome which both teams do not play in and midway between both cities. I could also see Indy as well even though it's domed. Open the roof if they want to make it an outdoor game like the places they play.

I'd place Pittsburgh, Cleveland and potentially Detroit as somewhat midway between the two cities and Indy as close enough. Indy seems like the most likely outcome atm, but the NFL has used Detroit twice as neutral site games for Buffalo, due to snowstorms.

Scratch my first para... Indy still makes the most sense here.

The rumors are definitely out there that McDaniel will be fired if the Dolphins lose Sunday. They really are a dumpster fire.

I can't see the NFL adding an eighth team at this point. They would have to do it today, before the Chiefs have the opportunity to lock up the spot Saturday night.
