    This is my predcition

    Steelers beat Browns
    Buffalo beats NE
    Miami beats the Jets

So the answer for me is NO

Hoping I am wrong but I just dont see it . Anything can happen of course.

Even if they do make it there is always a good chance they. are one and done.

Miami will either be playing with Teddy Bridgewater with an injured finger or Skyler Thompson. As bad as the Jets have shown themselves to be in the second half of the season, I would take Mike White over either. And the Jets will be motivated to keep the Phins out of the playoffs.
I'm honestly more worried about Steelers over Browns.

The biggest question is if the Chiefs win on Saturday, will Buffalo sit their starters on Sunday knowing that Kansas City has locked up the #1 seed?

This assumes that the Bills vs Bengals game will not be replayed. Will the NFL inform the Bills of their decision before Sunday's game? If the NFL is going to screw the Bills out of the #1 Seed, it would be the right thing to do to let the Bills know that they could use Week 18 as their Bye Week.

This does, however, completely screw over the Steelers giving the Patriots an easy win against the Bills practice squad players on Sunday.

My question is how are the Steelers limping into the Post Season... assuming that happens. Outside of Myles Jack... I don't see anyone of note who could be unavailable come Playoff Time is that is to be the case.

They will still want to win Sunday because they don't have the #2 slot locked up. Had they went on to lose that night this would not be the case. In all reality I think what happened Monday actually works out in the Steelers favor for 2 reasons 1) the Bills want to maintain #2 2) they will be motivated for Hamlin. If nothing else it's still the Patriots... a team that has been there daddy for years...and they will be motivated (much like the Browns will) to keep a division rival out the playoffs. A dangerous rival at that.

Ok I messed that last post up lol.

What happened Monday could also work against the Steelers because

    (1) the Bills coaches won't be as focused preparing for this game.

    (2) the Bills players won't be as focused watching tape and during practice.

    (3) a major part of home field advantage is crowd noise. Will the fans be more subdued for this game?

It seems really ghoulish to consider the advantages and disadvantages of this injury from a competitive football perspective. I apologize if anyone takes this post as placing a football game above a person's life. That's not my intent.

Yea it’s very hard to imagine the Bills are ready to play Sunday can’t imagine their heads are into it. If some great news about Hamlin breaks before the game such as he’s in a more stable or conscious state that could help the mental state but I’m not sure that will be the case unfortunately.

They limped in last year after the colts s**t the bed against the Jags. Steelers are on a winning streak right now and are mostly healthy. If they get in it’ll be on merit, albeit I don’t think they are a playoff caliber team and I’d be sceptical about how much good an ass whooping in Arrowhead or Orchard Park will do them in a playoff game.

The results they need are possible if unlikely. They should be able to beat the Browns in any case

The NFL has an issue. The Bills beat the Chiefs - the road to the Super Bowl is through Buffalo as long as they win.
I imagine they know that and will want to win at home against New England and to put New England out of the playoffs is and additional bonus.
This puts the NFL in a tough spot. They will not have much success in explaining rewarding KC with home field. It will be interesting.

Miami: Wow, they suck. 5 straight losses. The good news? The Jets are worse. Pittsburgh probably gets eliminated here.

Should Miami lose and Pittsburgh win, they are not limping by any stretch of the imagination. They are a team peaking at the right time. But they cannot compete with KC and definitely not the Bills.

I feel for the Bills. I really do. That said, they were not as good as they had been when they played the Steelers already, mostly because the defense lost Von Miller. Now, I wonder if they are going to be a distracted team the rest of the way. How can they not be?

That said, the notion in the OP that the Steelers would be limping into the playoffs if they made it is just foolish. They would be incredibly lucky given the collapses of other contenders that was necessary for them to get there, but they would have won seven of their last nine games. That's not limping.

What I like about the Bills is that they overcome. Von Miller was a huge loss and now they've lost a pretty solid safety.
But here's what I think; This is motivation to win. This makes them more dangerous.
Josh Allen is still playing at God level.

I would like to see us get a chance at though. Miami would be the one "limping in" and if Tua returns, maybe they are better.
It's just that 'the Jets' are a miserable team. Talk about QB killers. I do like the coach and I am sorry he wound up there.

Well, lets face it we got real lucky last season making it so I don't see lightning striking twice:(

Really wouldn't mind since we stayed in it after terrible start and we have a rookie QB. This will not be considered a bad season be me.

Now just to piss us all off. At around 3:30 the Jets and Bills will have things in hand and we will be down by 3. That will be one hell of an interesting GDT.

Apparently you haven’t been paying attention since the Steelers have been doing their part. Far from limping

    Backing in.
It's similar to when a player is injured and his team mates help him off the field, except the team mates will be the Jets.

Neither am I. I think that is the least likely of the three outcomes the Steelers need to make it.

The Bills have shown an ability to persevere, but this is different. I'm not sure how they will react going forward. For this week, I hope they play and have their heads on straight enough to beat the Patriots, but who knows?

They both are playing brutal at the worst times for them. I can see the Jets playing hard to end the season on a high note and keep Miami out of the playoffs. It's a crap shoot at this point.

I'm more worried about the clowns as they have said they want to keep us out of the post season. Although we are on the upswing they have a monster running attack. Need to see more Robinson laying the wood. I do feel we will win though.

They will play hard for Damar Hamlin. I'm sure he would want it that way as any player who is injured for the remainder of the season would. I understand its a tragic and different situation but I can see them pulverizing the Cheats.

If they back into the playoffs who knows. Its the hot hand that can persevere and they are peaking at the right time. No looking back now.

Remember people, Steeler week is considered their Superbowl in NE Ohio.
We will need our A game to beat the Browns and their running game.

I'd love the steelers to win the superbowl every year and wish they would have been more competitive in the playoffs when they had actual superbowl contending rosters 4-8 years ago, but excited there is hope this last week of the season for them making the playoffs and potentially watching some bonus football.

That said I think there is a good chance they make it and I feel like the hardest scenario would be steelers beating the stains. The dolphins may be starting a qb just signed and I think the Bills will be so emotional and win by 14+ against the patriots.

    possible, just not likely.

a good 2nd half of the season, at least improving, on both sides of the ball.

    Get re-tooled for 2023!

"a good chance" - that would mean greater than 50% odds - so you are defying common opinion and oddsmakers? we are all entitled to do that, I suppose.

yep - Browns could WHACK us if our D wuss's out against the run, which is possible.

6-2 formation again, hope Tomlin and Austin are watching.....
