Can someone help identify this mystery Steelers sweater?

It is a thermal mock turtleneck, and it belonged to #29. I remember these in the 80s. I got it from a box of old stuff at Steelers Training Camp a few years ago.
As you can see, it is a magnet for white dog hair.
I am wondering whose it was. I am 5’8” and 160 lb, 42” chest and 32” waist. The only #29 who would even come close to my size would be Cornell Gowdy, a much taller than me DB.

 

CB Ron Johnson was #29.

 

Would he have been in the era that they wore these? And would his stuff fit snugly on me? I am a smallish v shaped guy.

 

Chidi Iwuoma? They wore mock necks when he played. But I think he was more around the 180 lbs. I don’t know…. He was the first guy that came to mind.

 

Chidi is close to my size, but he was in the early 2000s. Were they still wearing the mock turtlenecks then?
