Maybe it was Bowen who started the whole thing and got the NFL onto Williams. And if thats the case, then call out Matt Bowen in your tweet. Clark didn't.

As for the Canseco comparisson, I understand that even though Im not sure if I agree with it (MLB knew about steroids and looked the other way, then black balled Canseco (or so he thinks) when the fit hit the shan).

Clarks whole point is that if the whistle blower was truly concerned with player safety, then he should have immediately stopped it. That he shouldve stood up said something while it was going on even if it made him an outcast. Well thats easy for Mr Clark to say, but what if the whistle blower was a late round rookie offensive lineman? A guy who as a long shot that is a relative nobody on the team. A guy who is a new comer and buried on the depth chart who is busting his butt to make a career for himself that sees this going on on the defensive side of the team and feels its wrong. Yeah, like he's going to stand up and say something. And if a guy like this is the whistle blower, didn't he ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING about it like Clark is suggesting?

Is there any doubt that the coverage would have been better in the Denver game if he had played?

At the same time, you don't know that he doesn't know who it is. I'm sure being an athlete in the league has him privy to information us fans don't have. For all we know, Clark is right and it's simply a matter of a guy who's looking for revenge.

Listen to the link at 1:30. Clarks says "I don't know where the investigation started..."

That doesn't mean anything, the guy is denouncing snitches, he's not going to say who it is if he knows.

    No.

He is denouncing snitches who benefitted from the system that they are snitching on.

He actually condones snitching if you don't benefit from the system and its done for altruistic reasons.

And Clarks admits he doesn't know who the snitch is or where he came from. But he wrote the tweet that he did. Thats why he looks flat out dumb. And even if he does know more as an insider then say what you know and call people out personally rather ambiguously. Otherwise you look like a dope.

I love RC as a player. But the guy talks (or tweets) too damn much.

Isn't the whole point of being a whistle blower based on that person's perception of right and wrong. I guess what I'm driving at here is that it shouldn't matter if the guy is a 5th round draft pick, an unsigned free agent or a 13 year veteran. Isn't right..right and wrong...wrong? With that in mind I understand what Clark is saying.
