    Came to Play

Jonathan Dwyer - nice tough running, especially in 4th quarter
Offensive Line - overall good pass protection; good run blocking especially considering injuries; effectively killed the clock at the end of the game with the Bengals knowing we were going to run.
Chris Rainey - I still can't decide if I like him or not...he was billed as a Darren Sproles type; while I don't think he is that, he did return kicks effectively and had some nice runs.
Keenan Lewis - I never thought I would say this, but Keenan Lewis had a good night....he made plays on run defense and pass defense
Ike Taylor - I'm not sure he did a good job because the Bengals foolishly didn't challenge him, but the bottom line is that AJ Green was not a factor
Lamar Woodley - I didn't think he was that great, but he had the game-changing play of the game
Ben Roethlisberger - I'm a little disappointed he didn't put the game away in the 4th quarter when we got to the Bengals 35 yard line. However, he made alot of nice throws and didn't get much help from his receivers.
Shaun Suisham - He looks very good (knock on wood)
Anthonio Brown - Several key catches and runs not to mention the nice pass to Batch

    Should have stayed home

Mike Wallace - Boy, that was frustrating to watch...
Barron Batch - How could he have missed that??
Special teams - way too many freakin penalties...they killed several nice returns

Notes - I liked most of the play calling (not a fan of too many reverses with Mike Wallace). I thought the Bengals play-calling was atrocious.

Agree for the most part. The part about not getting help from his receivers, I would edit to say didn't get much help from Mike Wallace. And the Batch drop was bad, very bad, and cost a TD. The rest of the receivers showed up in a big way. Most notably AB and Heath.

And Dalton sucked balls last night.

I agree with your assessment. Add Miller to the list. He was the total package with both blocking and receiving.

On the Cincy side, Bufict played a great game, IMO. He was always making plays.

    Franco,

You just left one out: Willie Colon - He played tough all night and open some nice running holes! :applaud:

Curtis Brown showed a little effort also, should get better with the more play time he gets

Dwyer is the obvious choice here but leaving Heath and Colon out would be unfair. To me Heath had one of his best games every and was the complete package. Colon was, actually, fun to watch tonight. Also, man I loved watching AB run the ball after the catch.

Wallace could have watched the game from the sidelines and made the same contribution. I'm not down on the guy but I do hope he steps it up next game.

Yes you have to love our new offensive coordinator. He has done a supreme job of using the talent we have to its fullest extent. It's not Haleys fault Mikey 5 drops cant catch ( thanks TTF)

Exactumundo! Also if Batch didn't drop that gadget play there would've been another td! Oh well. I mean is it really fair to blame a guy for dropping it when he's wide open with nothing but the green grass of the end zone in front of him? I think we all need to be more forgiving! ;)

Mike Wallace tied his career high with 8 receptions, in that game. Lol

Blunt, I used to ask my guys one question when they said something like that forgiving thing. The question was
"Is you eat up wit da dumb AZZ" Now that wasn't directed at you
