I hope to heck they extend cortez allen now.

I think as they lose these older vets, we will see our draft picks fast tracked, which will pose a new problem of them looking like they are not that great at first. for all JJ has been showing, he still is out of position a lot. we just didn't have a lot of places to put draft picks on the starting roster to see if the draft picks were at the level we needed. once the vet in front of them were gone we found out. keeping them with the cap doesn't always go as planned. injuries are not in the plan either, but they happen.

Certainly a little disappointed in Cam to date. He really needs to pick his game up.

Just as a side note to the 2011 draft - Even though I was advocating at the time to trade up to grab either JJ Watt or Mike Pouncey (Both of whom went too early to trade up for anyways), the other player I had penciled in if we were going to stand pat was Ras-I Dowling. Cut by the Patriots yesterday. Guess I was potentially wrong on that one.

Well the reason he was cut is because he apparently just can not stay healthy. The article I read about it said that Bill took a chance on him knowing that he'd never been able to stay healthy. I would love to have some depth at corner but we DEFINITELY can't afford a guy that's already injury prone.

not that it helps this year but Cheadle and DVD did clear waivers and were put on our IR. I think they have high hopes for DVD as a corner down the road.
