    I don't think there was a specific injury behind it. Essentially what dry needling does is help with muscle recovery, reducing pain and increasing range of motion. Lots of players use it or acupuncture to speed up their body's recovery from workouts, practice, etc.

    It can help with certain injuries as well, but Watt stated it was just something he'd had done for some time.
