Getting 12 sacks as a 3/4 DE and being selected All-Pro isn't overrated .

The funny thing is people were saying that the afc championship game last year would have been different if heyworthless was playing. Yea I agree, the pats might have scored 50....

I disagree that Heyward is overrated, but based on what his coach and certain players on the team said, maybe he and the rest of the defense were saving themselves for the AFCCG against the Pats.

And it was also 20-10 to start the 4th qtr. So 6 pts in the 2nd half and not just about the points when THEIR TEAM got momenum they got then the ball back to put them in position to take the lead. Something our team didn't do

So what he had a bad game, he's still their best player on defense.

Whole D crapped the bed... Ben's pass to JuJu was something I would not have called personally, but it would not be talked about if the Jagoffs DB wasn't untucking his jersey for him. Should've been a flag but I digress

Best player? Then that is huge problem. Troy always came up big... Deebo always came up big.... Woodley, porter and the list goes on and on.

There are a lot of young players on defense, so until they step up Heyward is the best player on defense.

Agreed. Some posters showed a lack of knowledge about the game on this thread. The OP was even worse. How is that appropriate to say a guy played like he was drunk?

    Drunk?

I will likely succumb to alcohol poisoning by the time OTA's start and nevermind Rookie Minicamp. :lolol:

He was hurt and old at that point. And I wouldn't compare getting burned by Rodgers to Blake bortles.

Really, did you really just say that about maybe the greatest strong safety that ever lived? Lets bring up Denver also when that idiot Tomlin played Troy and troy looked like a fool. troy should have never been playing in Denver and aron rodgers could beat anybody but let me ask you this,, If Troy in his prime was playing in game against Jax the other week would the steelers have won?

Troy in his prime? Yeah they would have won. All that running up the middle and all those deep throws wouldn't have happened. Troy has that much impact we win the sb if we had troy.

And in that 2010 sb troy was old and he was hurt in the game as well. No matte show great you are father time is undefeated. And in Denver mundy playing for Ryan Clark is who looked like a fool
