Cam should take a 'discount' to stick around as a 'role' player.

 

He got injured last year, so what? It happens. The two years prior he was 32 and 33 years old and had 20.5 sacks and 163 tackles. Pretty good for a guy last his prime.

 

Probably because he knows there's an easy way for his agent and the organization to lower his cap number for 2024 so the team can afford it while he still makes the money his agent negotiated in the original contract.
