Would be a huge plus if they get good production out of Austin this season.

What are you guys expecting from him?

He's the fastest player on the team, I sure hope that Arthur Smith can figure out a way to get him the ball a lot more than Canada did.

Should be able to get him involved easily, he’s not a gadget player.

I’m a big fan of CA3. Hopefully having Wilson at QB opens up opportunities for him.

i have commented frequently on him

I have high expectations for him.

Kenny could not hit the blind side of a shed with the ball, so Austin had no chance to make a mark. One read and roll Kenny, as I called him. Hit him for nice play or 2 last year, that was it. Could not see past his first read. and under-threw him several times when he was open.

AS and Wilson will make good use of his speed and his hands.

have been saying this for a while, that Austin needs to be a big part of what we do this year

I like CAIII and I want him to pop off.

But my bold, way too early prediction is.. They draft Tahj Washington and the two compete for snaps in the slot. Washington digs into it heavily from his blocking prowess and, considering the number of two TE sets seen anyways, that whomever is in at slot is largely irrelevant save a splash play every few games or so.

Good to see him putting in the work. Hopefully he can become a factor in the offense this year.

The tape of Austin giving Gardner trouble was great.

It would be great if he could break out but even if that happens I’d expect he will be up and down from game to game, he is a big play waiting to happen if they can put him in the right situations.

Hopefully he solidifies his role this year as#3

Slot is his spot but you have to wonder if he’s too small for that role.

Could be a big year for Austin. Seems like the team always expects a big jump for players going from year one to year two. Because he missed his entire rookie year that jump could come this year even though it’s technically his third year.

The thing is, Smith will need to change what he does to get Austin involved. He doesn’t use 11 personnel very often, they were actually last in using it this past season. Most of the offenses he has run have just 2 WR on the field.

Hopefully he can get creative and have some packages drawn up for Austin, that speed is a weapon. Smith turned Pattersons career around, hopefully he can do the same for Austin.
