I like CA3. I think the biggest issue with him was that there weren’t enough other weapons to draw enough of the D’s focus away from him. I would have liked to see how he would have fared with the defense needing to focus on both DK and Pittman. If CA3 is on the field in your base offense, it’s a problem. He’s a guy who needs to come in fresh and fast when you go 3 or 4 wide.

He seldom got open and he was so short all the defender had to do was put his hands up

    Watched it repeatedly

I never thought Austin was very good. His route running wasn't good, and he really wasn't open that often. He had great straight-line speed, but I never felt like I was watching a player with natural receiving ability. With his small size and catch radius, he could never be a featured target unless he had elite short area quickness and separation, which he never really showed.

I'm glad they didn't sign him to a new contract and he went to another team. I like him and wish him well. He just wasn't a good enough receiver, and it is time to find someone with better natural receiving skills.

I still think he could be a great number 3.

Maybe you're right. I just don't see it. I don't see that type of ability in him.

I hope he does well because he seems to be a great young man from everything I've heard about him.

I would still acquire a WR if I was New York. Just not at pick 5 like so many outlets are implying. Missing out on Sonny Styles would be a colossal mistake.
