    watching the 2001 afc championship on YouTube. Still can’t stomach how they lost this one. The way our defense started on NE’s opening drive was absolute domination. No excuse for losing this one.

    Ughhh the # of times they pissed away a trip to the super bowl.... :facepalm:

    Special teams did the Steelers in. 2 Pat TDs game on a blocked FG and a punt return.

    Also, a 10pt home favorite found itself down 21-3 early. I guess underestimating an inferior opponent is a Steeler quality that predates Mike Tomlin.

    I remember Cowher telling the media before the game that he told his team to take care of their Super Bowl travel plans before the AFCCG :facepalm:, some Patriots players were clowning them afterwards about that. Then the Cowher fanboys will say the only reason he didn't win a SB sooner was because he didn't have a franchise QB.
