QB- Ben- Grad- Landry: I hate to go with 3 but with Bruce just coming off the PUP and Landry showing signs of being a NFL QB, though inconsistent, he's on, for the time being.

RB- Archer, Harris, Williams... Archer is showing improved vision and even made an effective block on a Blitzer......who knows, he may end up ok

    FB- Wil Johnson...

WR- Brown, Wheaton, Bryant, Coates, Goodwin,... I'm a fan of CJ's, Love his Story, bye bye DHB

OL- Beachum,Foster,Pouncey,DD,Gilbert,Wallace, Big Al, Hubbard, Adams. Hate Adam's isn't working....again!!... Hubbard's experience beats out BJ's disappointing performance.

    TE- Miller,Spaeth, J. James

    DEFENSE

DL- Tuitt,Heyward,McClendon,McCullers, Hemer, Thomas.... THAT Hurt!!! Hate writing cams name but he's playing decent, vet, and position flexible. I REALLY like what Hemer showed in game 2.

    OLB- JJ,Dupree,Moats, Harrison, Chickillo

ILB- Williams,Timmons,Spence,Shazier,Garvin- Zumwalt is losing to Garvin.

    CB- Cortez,Blake,Gay,Boykin,Grant,Webb

    S- Mitchell, S.Thomas,W.Allen, Golden....

    ST
    K- Hartley
    P-Wing
    LS- Warren

    PS: Fogg,CB... Holiman S... Chisholm,RB.. LT Walton, DE... Finney, C/OG.. Darby,S... S Phillips,WR... Zumwalt,ILB.... H. Jones, OLB... Palmer,OT....

    Cajun---

I think Webb could be pushed by Ventrone should he every get back. I know they don't play the same position, but I think the last position is really about special teams. Webb and Ventrone may end up fighting for it if he can get healthy.

I could get behind this. I think that they will keep DHB, but there is a legit case for Goodwin. If DHB sticks, Goodwin to the PS and Zumwalt out. Harris is sent down as soon as Bell is back from his suspension

Possibly, but I think it comes down to which player can contribute at their actual position. Ventrone is ST only. Webb can actually play corner on the field, and might be worth keeping and possibly developing into a solid backup. If I had a choice I'd keep Webb, but that's just me

Thought they said Zumwalt was looking good in camp? I know he had an injury...

Agreed. They'd basically be battling it out for the gunner position. Webb is better at defense, but he'd be the #5 CB at best, and #7 the moment Grant and Golson pass him. Ventrone wins that battle for his ST play, unless he can't recover from the injury in time. But I read he was out there running hard today, and the season doesn't start for almost a month.

I think they'll drop Howard Jones before Zumwalt.

Overall I agree with Cajun's roster. Not sure I see them cutting DHB, though. Maybe. I think they like him.

    I'd keep Walton over Thomas.

Either way is fine by me. Neither of those guys do much for me lol

True. Gay, Boykin, and Blake are all free agents after the season though. Surely they won't all be re-signed...

I hear he struggles in camp but plays better on game day , physically he's slow and weak but he's a film room junkie and high football IQ.... Garvin wins due to ST.... I'm pulling for zumwalt

I like ventrone, problem is he's strictly ST, Darby is making a case for himself on the st and secondary, he's smart, I'm pulling for the guy, like his story

I don't know about that. They love Golden on ST. He was the captain last year. He might not offer much at safety, but he's got years in the system, and that adds a ton of value. Compared to Darby, Golden is Will Allen. I think if Golden's knee is fine, he's a lock.

I think they keep Zumwalt also, I think Garvin may be the odd man out.

They do like DHB, CJ isn't pushing him out the door, best CJ can hope for is the PS.

Also disagree with cajun on Holiman, he'll make the team. I don't think he'll last 2 seconds on a PS, I think hes going to surprise a lot of people.

DHB got the respected Vet rest game 1. If he was in any danger he would have been playing to earn a spot. Also the ST'S where very bad before we signed DHB and they look very bad when he is not on them. Goodwin looks real good to me as well I think we keep 6 WR'S to much talent and Team value to cut any of them..

Was wondering why you left Bell off the list. Which RB do you move to waivers and hope to keep on PS? For me it would be Archer, but we all know that isn't happening because they seem to love the guy for some reason. They probably cut Harris and if he clears waivers, sign him to PS.

Since a number of fans are not sold on Archer I took a look at the RB's. Clearly, Bell and Williams are known commodities. I don't know how many times just about all those nfl.com guys mentioned how efficient Bell was as a receiver. I think they said he had 84 catches.[unreal] So obviously, he is also a 3rd down threat. but still another Mewelde Moore would not hurt. Any out there?

That 3rd back could be all important. I took a look at the rosters RB's going back to the early 90's and noticed something possibly not just a mere coincidence. In 1995 Pegram was picked up. The Steelers went to the SB. In 2008 Mewelde Moore was picked up and turned out to be a very productive 3rd down back. Back to the SB and won it. He was there in 2010 but in a lesser role as R. Mendenhall had a very good year starting all 16 games and doing some 3rd downs too even though they also had Redman and Dwyer, a couple of good backups.

But still, another Mewelde Moore would not hurt. Any out there?

    Interesting find.

Would you consider Williams to have a use similar to Moore, once Bell is back playing?

I don't know what his 3rd down play is like, as don't know enough about the guy. I'm presuming they'll leave Bell in as much as they can, and if it's an obvious passing situation then no-one would be surprised to see Archer there.

"but we all know that isn't happening"-----Yeah I guess so. They will probably stay with Cajun's 4. But as I said earlier I would like to see them find another Mewelde Moore.

btw: I do not think Archer would be eligible for the PS. But I am not sure. Anyway, I suppose they will keep him by default. Hmm! There now seems to be a number of players that have to be kept by default.
