This is NOT a Prediction but instead what I would do if given a chance at this point.

    OFFENCE:

    QB- Ben, Landry, Dobbs
    Commentary: locked in

    RB- Bell, Conner, Watson
Commentary: I like Watson over Davis and Fitz

    FB- Nix .. Commentary: DUH

    TE- James, DJ, Jake McGee
Commentary: McGee's Blocking is Dominate and Grimble's isn't, plus Grimble's hands are avg at best.

WR- Brown, Bryant, JuJu, Rodgers, Hunter, Coates
Commentary: DHB is a poor WR... Ayers & Cobi lose the #'s game

OL- Big Al, Foster, Pouncey, D.D., Gilbert, Hubbard, Finney, Matt Feiler
Commentary: Feiler is bigger, stronger and better athlete than Hawkins. He's also Played both OT and OG. Hawkins proves to me he's a RT only.

    DEFENSE:
DL- Heyward, Tuitt, Hargrave, Alualu, Walton, Maxey
    Commentary: locked in

OLB- Dupree, Moates, Deebo, Watt, Chickillo
    Commentary: Locked in

ILB- Shazier, Williams, Fort, Dirty Red
Commentary: locked in.. Fort secures B/U for Shazier and Red behind Williams

CB- Burns,Cockrell, Gay, Sutton, Hilton, Sensabaugh
Commentary: Allen has not shown enough to make it... Hilton may overtake Gay by seasons end

    Safety- Mitchell, Davis, Dangerfield, Hagen
Commentary: goodbye Golden, Dangerfield is now the top Backup at both safety spots.... Hagen game day inactive but he shows smarts and solid decisions.

    ST-
    Boswell... K
    Berry...... P
    Holba...... LS
    T. Williams... PR/KR
    Commentary: throwing Williams some Love

    PS--- K. Adams(OLB), Mihalik(OT), Toussaint(RB), Brandon Dixon(CB), Malik Golden(S), Grimble(TE), Ayers(WR), Brian Allen;CB), Galambos(ILB), Kallon Francis(DE)
Commentary: Hawkins doesn't make it because another team signs him to their 53. Dixon shows promise as does Golden and Galambos. I like Francis Story

This is my roster and not a prediction but I think it may work.... What you think?

I think Hawkins was much improved Sunday night, especially at LT.

I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

I think your 6 WRs are dead on.

I do like McGee's blocking but ultimately I think Grimble makes the team. Maybe DJ's time is at an end?

I don't like it, but I think Knile Davis makes the team. Ditto for Robert Golden.

I'm also tired of trotting Golden out there, but he makes it unfortunately. We place a high value on experience and system knowledge with 1st line backups.

I agree Hawkins looked better in week 2 but still not good enough. His high end is a RT. I think In a year Feiler could be Hubbards ( do all ) replacement.

DJ has time in the backfield as FB as well which may be his saving grace this year.

Your thoughts on Dangerfield? I've pulling for him for a couple years, he knows the system.i see his game has progressed passed the heat seeking missile only to a more rounded Safety.

Golden has to go... A big problem in the secondary.

I don't see anyway Golden is on this roster come week 1 barring injury. I think if Sutton wouldn't have gotten banged up Gay would be gone also though I still think he may go. He hasnt looked good once this preseason. He just keeps getting repeatedly beaten.

    1. I agree on Watson over Davis and Toussaint. I like that you found a way to fit Williams as well.

    2. I agree, Jake McGee is making as strong a case as he can. Whether he pushes Grimble or DJ off the roster is yet to be determined.

    3. I don't see the point in keeping both Coates and Hunter. Pick one and keep DHB.

    4. I agree that Feiler has put significant pressure on Hawkins. He might not push Hawkins off the roster, but instead force them to keep 4 OL on the 53 man.

    5. Your Golden hate is PWP level silly.

I Like Grimble over McGee. I like your WR crew and agree with it if it were up to me, but I think DHB will make it because for some reason our coaching staff loves him. I will give him credit though, he is a great special teams player. I am also not a huge fan of Coates but the coaching staff will give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a spot due to his broken fingers and other injuries.

I may be wrong but I don't see Hunter vs Coates..... Hunter is a slot WR and Outside.... Coates isn't. I get the love for DHB for his "other" qualities but he just too weak on the "O" and replaceable on ST.

I don't Hate Golden but a realist... Did you see him play last year before his benching? Have you watched his two games this year? Dangerfield has surpassed him.

If McGee gets some time with Ben in the Indy game and catches a couple passes. It is written. McGee is in.

Honestly I've liked Gay for a long time because so many hates him but I thought he was a good fit in LeBeaus scheme.

The Only reason I'm keeping him is because even though he is a liability in man coverage he is smart and a solid tackler and has good hands( int's ) so he has value in zone and even as a safety. If D. Stafford had not retired I would have felt better about our secondary backend and had no need for Gay and probably kept Brandon Dixon CB instead.

Hunter is not a slot WR

When you from replacing Golden with Stafford and Dangerfield to immediately replacing him with Dangerfield and Hagen you show your bias.

Edit: Dangerfield HAS looked good... but Hagen? Please

I'm going to ask the "is it just me, or..." question on Golden. Is it just me, or has he regressed since we gave him his 3 year deal? I liked him as an up and coming backup after the 2015 season, but I think he played worse in 2016, and looks like a lost man so far this preseason. I really think he was a better player in 2015 than he is now, and I'm pretty nervous over the prospect of him being the first safety off the bench (or even the 2nd).

This!! I was a fan, supporter of his when so many were saying Shark is the next safety in line and I really thought Golden was going to be that Player.

I'm not saying Dangerfield is All that great but I get less nervous when he's in there instead of Golden.

I'm predicting there will be at least one, and up to three new guys on the roster before 10 Sep. Corner, safety, TE.

While a 6'4" speedster seems ideal for outside the Bills played him inside often. The Steelers has also lined him up in the a lot as well as outside.

Hopefully he succeeds and burns that bust label he's gotten. He is almost DHB part 2 !!

Hagen ???? Yeah but what else is a amateur GM supposed to do? Keep Golden and lose his Bias label?

Edit; Hagen will be a game day inactive. .
