C.J. Beathard

Im a Hawkeye fan and I've watched every game for a long time. CJ Beathard is the best QB Iowa has ever had. He has good mobility and a rocket arm. He is very accurate and can make every throw. His problem was he didn't have recievers who could get any separation and the Hawks are a running team. Look for his name to climb the draft boards. Would be a great mid round pick.

 

Good genes, should know football, I really have no opinion on him yet because I really haven't
seen him play. HE has to be able to read defenses quickly, accurate and can make all the throws.
I do like that he has played in a harsh climate. I saw him/Hawks in Rose bowl 2 years ago wasn't impressed with either.

 

I watched him in high school. lost track when he went to iowa. he was a great kid and very smart. big time leader. I guess he still is. I wouldn't mind this but I am afraid qbs are gonna go even higher than normal this year because of the weak class

 

I've watched a lot of Iowa games and Beathard will be a decent back up but I think that is his ceiling. There is nothing about him that wows me and I would rather pass on a QB if one is not taken in the first round. So many other talents that will contribute imo. They'll re-sign Landry Jones and he will battle with ZM.
