I would've taken Pamela Anderson over Ridley, she could Bust open more runs than him.

At this point what is the point of saying what is the point of saying they should have signed this guy or that guy? Seems doubly pointless

It's called a discussion forum. Nothing we say on here has any affect on the team. What's the point of discussing anything on here?
The point of the discussion, other than to brag, is to point out the fact that this team has been mismanaged in many ways over the years. One of those ways is we've become very complacent. There's this arrogance around this team that we can win with our current group and we don't need to make changes.

At this point it's clear and easy to see that a Andersen window would of caused less pane....

The point for some is to try and show how much smarter they are than the professionals. Which rarely works out.

He probably didn't have a strong enough social media presence for this team.

Bell's, not sure what the date was but he had like until nov 13th I think to report or he couldn't play this year. Once that happened we knew we didn't have him so that left an opening.

Bells situation was unique. I don't feel that roster spot was available to another RB. IMO the only way to make room for C.J is to cut another RB. I would have been fine with replacing Ridley, but we know the Steelers weren't going to do that.

They weren't gonna keep 4 RBs either way. So when Bell came back they would of cut Ridley which is the point I'm pretty sure you're trying to make. No Bell. So cut Ridley to make room for CJ. Whether the team should of done that is the argument. Some were then and are now of the opinion they should have. We may know they probably weren't but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have. Clearly hindsight but it appears for certain it was a mistake. I think that's the point you and others are making.

Well since they tagged Bell that meant they had a spot for him. The problem was he pulled his crap and we had no clue that he was gonna puke his crap. Then all the talk was he would be in first week then week 4 then week 10. Once he didn’t come in after the deadline to play the Steelers had a open spot and we seen how that worked out. CJ is an upgrade over Ridley.

Yeah pretty much this, whatever they were planning for Bell I wanted the same for CJ. At that time I was afraid Samuels couldn’t handle it which I was wrong about.

Agree CJ is an upgrade over Ridley, but we know the Steelers wouldn't make a move like that. If Bell would have signed at any point IMO they would have either cut Ridley of tried to put Samuels on the PS. JMO

Yeah but my point was at that time was since Bell isn’t coming back we only had Conner Samules and Ridley. Samules being a rook scared me and JC getting hurt worried me. Ridley has never impressed me. CJ imo was a veteran that had experience and insurance.

I agree, but based on our history you know we weren’t making that move.

Right and I wasn’t saying the would I was hoping. Like you say we know how it all works out but I was hoping. We will never know what if but we do know this if Ridley was gone he could of never fumbled......AGAIN.

Well we have a winner, BRAG.

The team was so mismanaged that the organization managed to put the team in position to make the playoffs 4 or of the past 5 seasons. They were a game away from making the playoffs this year. That's now what I would define as being mismanaged.

They certainly didn't get every decision they made right but what organization does?

Complacent? I don't think the organization was ever been complacent.

Haden and McDonald are the only good free agents Steelers have picked up recently. In order to improve the team...Steelers need immediate help.
